I stopped by for St. Martin's croissants because my friend mentioned that this restaurant has very good ones. The croissants looked tempting, and in taste, they turned out to be really delicious. In addition to them, there were also other pastries and preserves available. For the tasty croissants, pleasant surroundings, and friendly service, I leave a 5-star rating. I will definitely stop by for lunch next time.
I do not recommend this place! I was there today with my girlfriend; she ordered pumpkin cream soup and a set with cod, fries, and salad while I ordered a cod set with gnocchi.nnThe pumpkin cream had nothing to do with pumpkin soup either in taste or appearance (it looked like s*** with cream), the cod set was okay only in appearance... The cod was not fresh (it smelled bad in both my and my girlfriend's portions), the fries tasted like slippers, they were soft and pale (as if they were kept in the fryer for too short a time). My gnocchi were too salty, and it would be appropriate to serve a sauce with them. The only thing I found tasty was probably the salad.nA funny fact is that the lady selling wanted me to take the water off the table (because they have it for sale), despite the fact that we spent about 100 PLN on our dishes...nnOverall, I do not recommend.
The restaurant has a problem with hygiene in the kitchen. There were insects found in the delivered food (order through UberEats). In the sorrel soup, there was a wasp that my wife did not notice and chewed on, and in my gnocchi, I found a dead fly. I advise you to think twice before ordering anything from this place, especially since this is not the first opinion of this type.
A very atmospheric restaurant with a good menu. The price is perfectly matched to the size and quality of the dishes. The broth was very tasty. The grey dumplings were good and plentiful, but the cabbage should be more sour. It would give the dumplings more character and better flavor. I will definitely return to try other dishes.
So far, I have only ordered through pyszne.pl, so I cannot evaluate the service and the place itself, but the takeout food is excellent. I have ordered three times so far, and every time everything has been tasty, fresh, hot, and large portions. You can fill up with one dish. The prices are also nothing to complain about. I recommend this place!
I ordered my meals through UberEats; I received my dishes very quickly, and upon opening the styrofoam packaging, I almost vomited. It smelled of spoiled meat, the pork cheeks were undercooked with gelatinous bloody elements inside, and the gnocchi were undercooked. The grey dumplings looked like pancakes filled with ground potato peels. On top of everything, it smelled of spoiled meat and slimy bacon. In reality, only the boiled potatoes were edible, as even the salads were dried out. Disgusting. I do not recommend.
We ordered sour rye soup, grey dumplings, and goose through Pyszne.pl. The portions were large, but average in taste, and they arrived cold. The boxes were crushed and not airtight; probably because heavier meat and soup containers were placed on the lighter styrofoam boxes. The bag was full of spilled fat and water. They need to invest in sturdier packaging and wrap them in aluminum foil to keep the temperature. The worst part was finding a fly in the package with the dumplings...nAt this moment, I definitely do not recommend ordering takeout; the price does not match the taste and quality.
We were disappointed because we expected more from such basic soups. We took the sorrel soup — unfortunately, I can't say anything good about it, the tomato soup — the best of all 3/10, the cucumber soup — the only taste perceived in the soup was lightly sour, nothing more can be said. Very very weak, and we bought it because today the competition was closed where we often eat. The price was 43 PLN for 3 soups in home-style dinners for your own assessment.
Good food, large portions at a very reasonable price. The owner is very nice. Homemade products were prepared for tasting on the counter (sausages, kabanos, St. Martin's croissants), which can also be purchased. The broth with homemade noodles was very good, the pork neck was tender. Homely atmosphere. The only thing missing is music.
I recommend it. Friendly service. Good price. The grilled pork neck is substantial and tasty.
