In August, we had the opportunity to host our closest friends at wTataraku. We sincerely thank you for organizing our intimate 10-person wedding dinner. It was beautiful and delicious. Special thanks to the lovely chefs who helped us a lot on our special day. Of course, the menu deserves the highest rating! The food was exquisite, the dishes impressed not only in appearance but also in taste, the portion sizes were also appropriate, and the kitchen accommodated our requests regarding allergens. The courteous service ensured our comfort and freedom that day. Thank you once again, and we recommend this place for any occasion.nnJagoda & Michał
The place is beautiful, but the main dishes need improvement. The waiting time was over an hour between soups, appetizers, and main courses. The meats needed better preparation. The goose should be tender and easily fall off the bone; the meat was tough and rubbery. The dumplings were very hard and dried out inside. Steaks were too thick for that type of cooking and also tough and rubbery. Potatoes with the steak should be roasted with a piece of butter to avoid the dry lump. Among the good dishes – the goose soup was tasty, squids excellent, tomato soup tasty, salmon good. The desserts are excellently done.
Our first visit here, and we give a high rating because the food was really tasty. The pork tenderloin and spaghetti with shrimp are outstanding. We'll definitely return!
A charming restaurant in a wonderful lakeside location. The food is exquisite and beautifully presented. Our guests were delighted with all the dishes, especially the salmon and steak. The service was incredibly friendly and handled a full restaurant very well. A unique place on the culinary map of Poznań and absolutely worth recommending.
Together with my family, we organized a wake for 90 people; unfortunately, the dining area was not closed off and only 2 waiters were serving the entire room. The meal took more than 40 minutes to be served (first, the sauce was served, and only at the end the dumplings), the food was good, but the service was terrible; there simply wasn't enough of it. The waiter with the beard was very rude.nThe food was tasty, but I definitely do not recommend hosting any larger events there because the place is not prepared for that. Additionally, coffee was not served; only an espresso machine was set up, causing a line for 90 people. The venue is nice, the food is good, the cake average, definitely not prepared for larger parties.
The main dish was delicious. The tenderloin was really amazing. Unfortunately, the dessert disappointed me greatly - a hard piece of cake without flavor. So I do not recommend the dessert.
I definitely recommend both for lunch and dinner in a unique atmosphere.nThe beautiful, boho interior decor is a cozy accompaniment to a delicious meal.nExcellent wine selection, the menu is not too extensive, which translates into freshness and good quality of ingredients.nI recommend the tagliatelle with beets, pesto, and feta, as well as the Caesar salad :)
The service was terrible, especially the waiter with a beard. The venue is not prepared for events; it took almost an hour to serve the meal (first the sauce after 40 minutes, then the dumplings, and only when everyone was done, the duck). I left hungry. The coffee was not served; only an espresso machine was set up. The cake was tasteless. I do not recommend.
We were with my partner on Valentine's Day. On the positive side:n- The ambiance of the room: a very atmospheric place, calm, with a view of Malta, by the fireplace, and in addition, the evening was highlighted by a lady playing the violin.n- The food: my dishes - tomato cream, pork tenderloin good, my partner's dishes - beetroot cream, turkey leg sensational, the combination of sweet potatoes with apple mousse was fantastic.nnOn the minus side:n- Service, specifically the waiter, is beyond words. The waiter seated us at the only table where there was a bouquet of flowers with heart-shaped balloons. Even at that stage, he created a quite awkward situation, as how do you tell your lady: 'Darling, this is not our table because these flowers and balloons are not from me.' For 15 minutes, my partner lived with the awareness that it was for her. After that time, the waiter came and informed us that there had been a mistake, and we had to choose another table. We sat down at the table next door; the waitress brought drinks, apologizing for the situation. We said we understood, but the situation unfortunately left a bitter taste and disappointment. The waiter approached the table again and, in an even pretentious tone, informed us that he did not know what our problem was, as he had explained that he had made a mistake and that we could choose any table in the room. We once again explained what the issue was—that it was not about the table, but the disappointment that arose from his mistake. Throughout the evening, we were treated in a completely passive manner with stone faces, without any explanations about what we were receiving (where we heard how dishes were served at tables next to us).nDear waiter, your mistake might not only spoil dinner but the whole evening. Every woman would feel disappointment in such a situation, especially when the whole evening is a surprise. I understand a mistake in a situation where there is a bouquet of flowers on every table, but no, when only one table is decorated.
In this place, one cannot make noise, laugh loudly, or swear at the table, because other people came to a library, not a restaurant, to which the waiter will draw your attention. The tartar is bland, where any flavor is imparted only by the additions, while the meat itself is bland. The place itself is nice, good decor, an interesting location, but unfortunately, the experiences are terrible. The Caesar is good; the pork chop on the bone is okay, nothing more.
