I really enjoyed my steak The meat was of good quality. The staff was friendly and relatively quick. The decor is modern, perfect for hotel dining.It would be wonderful if the chef would sample the dishes served from time to time. Yesterday's lunch - cod in tempura didn't even deserve a quarter of a star. This is now the second meal I've had, which I assume was a very low-cost version. Nicely presented and that's it.An elegant place for an evening dinner for two. The food is delicious, the bread served almost hot, and the fruit with crumble surprised me with its presentation and ingredients.Delicious food, friendly service, and not a long wait despite a special event going on in the restaurant.nnDuring our visit, we tried Ramen, Duck, Salmon, and a Burger. All the items we tasted from the menu were fresh, perfectly prepared, and seasoned, and the presentation made both the eyes and stomach happy nnThe portions corresponded to the prices - let’s remember that the cost involves not just ingredients, but also service, etc. And we are in the heart of Poznań, a 15-minute walk from the market nnEverything is a huge plus!I have mixed feelings. The place is beautiful, the staff friendly, but the waiting time was very long, almost an hour. The dish lacked flavor. The sweet potato puree tasted like soap, the chicken was bland, but that didn't bother me as much. What surprised me most was that the broccoli had the most flavor and seasoning. My mom had a pork chop, mashed potatoes, and sautéed cabbage. Her dish was perfect. On one hand, I recommend it, but on the other, I know that at this price, better places can be found.I haven't been to Mercure in a long time. Pleasantly, sympathetically, and above all, deliciously.nI can recommend it for a meeting or a family lunch.nnIt's a pity the restaurant doesn't collaborate with the café so you can't order anything beyond the two desserts.The sour rye soup was excellent, the pork tenderloin with chanterelles and salad was exquisite, and the Mexican fajitas with chicken were very good.
