Very tasty food at the café. The coffee is decent, though it didn’t impress me. I also had the brownie, which was very good - classic, standard the downside is the heat inside the place in summer, so if you don’t mind eating outside, I recommend choosing a spot in the garden.
I ordered a pork chop and I must admit it was very good. Perfect coating and tender meat. I definitely recommend it. Tempted by new items and the strawberry breeze dessert, I decided to try it. And here comes the shock. I received 4 blackberries, completely frozen, in a dessert that was supposed to consist of seasonal fruits - in my understanding - fresh. I don't know if Weranda wanted to pay for my broken teeth or possible stomach upset. The staff member didn’t see the problem with serving something like that. Hence my opinion and great surprise.
Quick service despite the crowded restaurant. Fantastic and filling salads. Delicious potatoes with cottage cheese :)
We had the misfortune of having breakfast here today.nThere were only three of us in the whole café: me, my husband, and our 2-year-old child.nWe ordered a shakshuka and, attention, pancakes only with Nutella (seems to be a simple dish), unfortunately, the pancakes came cold :D and we waited so long for breakfast while there were at least 5 tables being served. Of course, it turned out that the dishes had long been served, but the waitresses couldn’t stop chatting with the bartender. Thus, the plates sat on the server for so long. Total ignorance, arrogance of the waitresses. I do not recommend this place. Remember dear waitresses, I pay money from which your salary comes.
I have always liked Weranda, but that changed today. Tasteless food, salads like in non-flagship places and to top it all off, it was so cold that half of us sat wearing jackets (and there were several of us). Such a level is unworthy of Stary Browar. The last straw was the penetrating cold and the lack of toilet paper in the restroom. I regret to give such a low rating.
Yesterday we managed to visit the Weranda located in the old brewery. The food was quite good, the mushroom cream was acceptable, the pork chop turned out to be the best thing we had there, it was really very tasty. The risotto with chicken and asparagus unfortunately had no flavor, it was not very good. The biggest minus, however, deserves the behavior of the Ukrainian waitress, very unfriendly, uncultured, the way she treats customers and speaks to them is downright scandalous. With her behavior, expression, and lack of basic personal culture, she scares away guests. People create the atmosphere, and behaving this way will result in difficulties. I hope my opinion will prompt reflection and conclusions. Greetings to the rest of the staff who were very polite, friendly, and competent; I hope that during my next visit, it will be much better.
'Weranda Lunch & Wine is a place that is really worth visiting! Breakfast was delicious – fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and the taste was simply indescribable. Service at the highest level, friendly and professional, taking care of every detail. The restaurant's atmosphere is very cozy, perfect for calm mornings. I definitely recommend it and will surely return!'
Good food and reasonable prices. Great atmosphere, not too loud – we could talk normally without having to shout – that's very important for us. Pleasant and friendly service, we got the menu almost immediately and the waiter quickly took our order. On Sunday morning there were quite a few people, but we could enter without a reservation (though it's worth making a reservation).
Sorry, but I won’t return. Despite the nice atmosphere of the restaurant and the beautifully presented dishes, all the charm ends there. The meals were bland and lackluster, leaving me unsatisfied. The service was sluggish. You can eat much cheaper and better at many other places.
We requested a table for 2 upstairs in a quiet area, and we were told that all were occupied despite the fact that there were actual free tables. Regarding the menu - the prices are outrageous, exaggerate. Jasmine tea from an instant bag with 2 slices of lemon and orange for 19 zł! The apple pie was quite average, the hot chocolate tasted like cocoa. We didn’t even want to try the rest of the dishes after considering previous reviews and the inappropriate prices... This isn't the same Weranda as it once was.... What a shame....
