A cozy place. The interior decorations resemble a magical forest. The waiter was very kind, though a bit absent-minded. He mixed up our order, bringing the wrong tea. Luckily, he quickly realized his mistake. We waited a long time for our order. Additionally, we first got the tea and then, after some time, the cakes. However, the pastries were delicious. The hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream was out of this world. The crumble and the bottom were crispy, and the apples were sweet with a hint of tartness. The second cake was the honey cake. Unfortunately, I have no comparison to others, as it was my first time trying it. Nevertheless, it was very good. Moist spiced cake layered with custard-cream filling. An interesting combination of flavors. I would gladly visit this place again to taste more dishes, not just desserts.
Visually, the place is charming and cozy, like something out of a Hallmark holiday movie.nnI ordered the honey cake, but it was in a completely different style than the one from the Georgian bakery I usually eat. However, even if the cake didn’t have the name honey cake, it still wouldn’t have suited my taste due to the texture of the cake (very moist layers) and the flavor of the cream (strangely tart). The preserves, however, were excellent, and the tea had a lot of additional options to choose from.
This incredibly atmospheric place treated us to delicious food! Rolled vegetables, tomato cream, and truly traditional gzik! On this frosty evening, I couldn't wish for anything else
Breakfast disappointed us. My husband ordered the Veranda special, the most expensive dish from the breakfast menu (50 PLN), and he was disappointed (the bacon and sausages were lukewarm). The omelet with bacon was okay, the shakshuka was the best. We paid 200 PLN for three breakfasts and three teas. This breakfast was not worth its price. However, the place is very charming, for lovers of live plants.
A very nice place close to the center. A calm atmosphere and great, helpful service. We ordered Basque cheesecake and the cake of the day, along with gingerbread babyccino and a flat white. The cost was about 90 PLN. Everything was worth the price. Thank you! We highly recommend it.
The Veranda restaurant in Poznań is a place that definitely deserves attention. Its elegant interiors and pleasant atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for exceptional culinary experiences. The menu offers a wide range of dishes combining tradition with modern trends, and the carefully selected ingredients guarantee the high quality of the meals. The service is professional and friendly, which further enhances the comfort of the visit. Although the prices may be somewhat higher, considering the quality of the offered dishes and the overall experience, it's worth considering this restaurant for special occasions or an elegant dinner. We will definitely return :)
Delicious coffee with sweets overlooking the Poznań Cathedral is an additional asset of this place.nVery atmospheric mood.nThe served dishes are tasty, aesthetically pleasing. Quite a large selection.nWorth visiting.
I chose this charming restaurant for my first coffee after starting my studies in Poznań, located on the street leading to the Cathedral. The doppio was delicious with a glass of water and a little cake, and for dessert, I ordered the chocolate tartlet, which is not on the permanent menu - it was exquisite! Crisp pastry, intensely chocolatey, moderately sweet, and decorated with edible gold! I highly recommend! The total came to 30 PLN. I think I will return to try something savory.
We finally managed to find a free table. :) The interior is very nicely decorated; from the windows, you can see the beautiful autumn decorations in the garden - a lot of pumpkins of different sizes, which is a nice addition. We only ordered coffee cappuccino and latte, as well as cakes - apple pie with ice cream and brownies with ice cream. Coffee was just coffee, but the cakes were delicious, warm, and melted in my mouth. The apple pie was heavily spiced with cinnamon, which for me is a plus because I love it . The brownie was rich chocolate flavor. I highly recommend it!
A great place, just right for winter days where you can drink aromatic, warming tea and admire the festive, atmospheric decorations. I also recommend the Basque cheesecake
