I ate here twice, take-out order – once chicken with rice, and the second time pasta with shrimp. Every time it was really tasty, the food super seasoned and fresh. There is a little bit of space in the place, but it's not a problem, because the most important thing is that the food is delicious. I will definitely order here again!
The dishes we ordered, namely rice with curry sauce and chicken, rice with hoisin sauce and chicken, and pasta with nut sauce and chicken - delicious. Only the curry chicken could be a bit less dry. The spicy dishes are really spicy! The portions are large, so you need to be hungry :) The nice waiter. A bit cold in the place, but it's still worth a visit.
Very good noodles with Sumatra sauce and Tumbuk sauce. Plus the possibility of ordering any dish with different meat and choosing the level of spiciness. The highest level of spiciness for experienced players. From appetizers, we tried Sajgonki and fried chicken dumplings. Sajgonki very good, but the sweet and sour sauce served with them is tasteless. Dumplings also not bad, they could be seasoned, but the peanut sauce is very good. A small selection of drinks.nWe were in the restaurant on Sunday, some items on the menu were already unavailable, one of the appetizers was mixed up.
Sumatra soup approx. Delicate but pleasant. Jingo sauce pasta acceptable, a bit lacking in balance but I may be picky. However, the rice (our gublak) was inedible. Sticky, overcooked, absolutely without sauce and taste. Dry as a chicken feather did not help. In any ordinary 'Chinese' you eat better fried rice.
Maybe I was unlucky to have a bad day at this place, but... I don't understand where it has such good reviews. I tried bakmi with chicken and nasi goreng with shrimp - a solid portion, nicely packed for take-out, looking appetizing... and that's enough I was disappointed especially with nasi goreng - a micro portion of shrimp, a ton of rice without any distinct taste. On the next visit I gave up ordering altogether - I dropped by an hour before the place closed, and the staff already seemed unhappy that someone was bothering them. Too bad, because the menu looked promising and I wanted to try other dishes. I hesitated to leave a review for a long time, but... somehow I still don't feel like going back nnEdit after the owner's response:nyes, the photos are old - as I wrote, I delayed leaving a review for a long time, and I shouldn't have. Maybe the level has improved since then, maybe it was already high then, and I was unlucky... in any case, the food disappointed me then, and the staff's subsequent behavior discouraged me from further approaches.nnIt was a day of the week - I don't remember, but I definitely ordered and received rice with shrimp or rather 'with shrimp addition', unfortunately...nnAt the moment, unfortunately, I don't have a reason to leave more stars... but maybe I will change my mind to visit the place again and verify that old review
Good food made from fresh ingredients. The place is a bit uninviting, but the rest is definitely worth recommending.
Delicious food, much better than in Sumatra, at a decent price. We come here from time to time. The place looks much better after the renovation. Nice service.nEDIT: We visit Warung after a year, we take rice bakmie with hoisin sauce, duck tempura and panko pork. The duck is very good but the pork is thin, tough and dry, full of panko and the meat is hardly seen. A bit of disappointment. We pay 78 PLN, beer isn't available.
They consistently maintain a high culinary standard. The restaurant may not look impressive from the outside and is more associated with fast food, but it certainly has delicious cuisine and generous portions. Tempura shrimp or Thai soup with coconut milk are must-try dishes. I will definitely continue to visit this place. I recommend it!
We came on the recommendation and it really is great. The food is first class, you can tell it's made with heart and good ingredients. From this place you can see that you don't judge a book by its cover - from the outside it looks like a tiny neighborhood bar and inside it's a cozy, intimate Indonesian eatery. We really recommend it because the food is delicious, the portions are large and the price is even more tempting. The service is also very nice and they help with choosing dishes.
The food was very tasty, however, we ordered it from one of the delivery apps - and 3/5 of the people had doubts about their order. It is possible that it is a matter of bad descriptions in the app when ordering (e.g. lack of information that the soup is with chicken) and poor description of the food boxes (it was impossible to read them). We had the impression that everything was mixed up - the pasta was not the same, the meat, the toppings... We were completely unable to figure out where what pasta was (soy, rice, wheat - everything looked... ambiguously). Unfortunately, this was complicated by the difficult contact with the service, which was not very helpful (we understand the language barrier, but we still counted on greater involvement and help). It ended up with eating things that did not look like those in the description.nnMy opinion about the food is 4/5, even though I wrote that what I ate was very tasty - because I ate things that I did not really want to eat with less pleasure. I am writing this review not to discourage the choice - however, I wanted to warn that ordering from them can end up with a random machine. :)nIn the photo, probably: rice noodles with chicken or wheat noodles with pork (seriously, we tried to distinguish them, but it was difficult - in theory, such different meat and pasta should not be confused, but here it was impossible).
