We managed to get a table on Valentine's Day, where everything was reserved. A beautiful, Valentine's atmosphere.nnAs for the food, the sour cabbage cream soup was a huge surprise - very good - it's worth trying something so unusual.nnAs for the chicken served with potatoes and colorful carrots, here hmm... the dish didn't knock me off my feet - as long as the potatoes were made very well, the chicken itself was dry for me, hence 4/5*.
Hmmm. Valentine's weekend. It was supposed to be romantic and it was, although our table for two was placed next to an 8-person table, so it was loud and we asked the diners to reduce their decibels.nAs for the food, it was quite good. The appearance of the dishes does not match the sides, but that is probably normal (they are prepared as advertising and a marketing gimmick).nMy duck was tender, although not crispy enough. The sauerkraut was heavily ground. The sauce was great.nBeef burger is a masterpiece for taste buds.nThe dessert was okay, but... the apple pie was not very warm, although tasty, and the ice cream cup met expectations.nUnfortunately, at the very end, I witnessed the waiter preparing an ice cream cup. Picking up a ball from a container with a special spoon, but sliding it off with a bare finger (without gloves).nThis left a bad taste in the whole outing. Pity...
My husband and I had a Valentine's Day dinner. The dinner was delicious, the combination of flavors was surprising, wonderful. Ms. Wiktoria, the waitress, was very friendly, warm and knowledgeable. I recommend it 200%. If there is an opportunity, we will definitely visit this restaurant.
Very friendly staff.nNice, relaxed atmosphere.nGood location, between Poznań's Old Market and the cathedral.nnAs for the food: we were a larger group and:nstrange 'waiting area' on old oil / olive, which lingers and bothers for hours.nEveryone rated the tartar very highly; not bad beef with pickled onions.nNot bad beef kebabs (but the toppings were average). Duck: average, with dry pancakes.nSoups: bad soup, strange cabbage cream.nThe tart improves the impression of the restaurant.nnThat is: it's worth dropping in just for the tartar, and if someone likes it - for the tart.
It was no problem to make a reservation for a large group on the weekend. We were served efficiently. Everyone was satisfied with their dish. I chose a Caesar salad with chicken and I also ordered scrambled eggs. The rest: green waffles, shakshuka, panini. The dishes were fresh, warm and tasty. For dessert, there was a charlotte with whipped cream and ice cream/chocolate cheesecake. The charlotte was average - very sweet, unfortunately, but it could be tastier. The cheesecake was good. ;)
I was there for the second time and overall I had very good experiences. The service was efficient and at a good level.nAs for the food itself, the sauerkraut cream with smoked sour cream was great, even though I usually don't like strongly smoked flavors. The beef pollack was indeed long-braised, as it melted in my mouth, but I would change the proportions of the additives - too many salty elements, too few other flavors (e.g. beetroot puree). The sous vide chicken was not dry even when reheated in the microwave the next day, and the mashed potatoes were pleasantly milky.
Here, seasonal coffee and tea taste great. The cheesecake is delicate, fresh. The service of Szarlotty is smiling and friendly, a customer-oriented approach with culture. They give a very good atmosphere to this place.nAnd everything was fine if it wasn't for the owner or manager of this place, who, for some reason, decided that it would not be out of place to 'blow up' with his office brawl at a 4-person table in a restaurant that was already full. In front of his guests and staff, he was engaged in his work as if he had forgotten about those for whom he opened this nice place. The peak of the offense was calling the next people from the service to the table and discussing the details of the schedule with them and discussing the remaining working rules. Such images have a very negative impact on the customer's perception. Once again, a big plus for the staff, who in the above situation probably did not feel comfortable with the guests.
I came here for breakfast and I have to say that I won't remember it in the sea of other breakfasts eaten in the city.nPanini or bajgiel cezar are not distinguished by anything special. The bread is ok, although the panini looks and tastes like a regular sandwich in a rectangle. The chicken is tasty and juicy, but the sandwiches had very little sauce, which is what makes this sandwich.nOn the other hand, the dressing for the salad is very tasty.nCappuccino is tasty, but quite strong.nWhile it's hard to discuss the style because everyone has their own taste, the cobwebs and dust on the walls do not help this place.
The biggest advantage of this place is the food, and we mainly visit restaurants for the food. The menu items are balanced, not stereotypical, adapted to the season. Everything is served appetisingly, but without unnecessary embellishments. The prices are adequate to the quality.nWe came here on St. Martin's Day and, without appreciating that day, we did not make a reservation, which I recommend on any crucial day. Despite the large traffic, the service was nice and professional. After receiving the dishes, we did not regret a minute we had to wait for the start. I will definitely visit this place again on the next occasion.nI had to take away one star for the fact that, as part of the settlement, we received a waiter's printout instead of a receipt, which is a kind of unfairness for me.
The food was delicious, the beetroot dumplings were first class. As for the service, it leaves a bit to be desired - there is a poster in the corridor asking to wait for a waitress, who, after seeing me through the door, simply went the other way later we felt somewhat ignored and had to ask for everything - for the order, for desserts, for the bill. At some point, a man started playing the guitar and singing so loudly that it was hard to talk, it seems someone asked him to lower his voice, but it didn't work for long. Overall, a place with potential and I will probably go back there someday.
