We sincerely recommend this place. Tasty food (nice seasonal offerings), large portions, and a shorter wait for dishes compared to other restaurants we tried in Poznań, plus a great atmosphere (we chose a table downstairs) and very nice service. Prices are reasonable. Once again, we recommend it
I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit. The potato pancakes were perfectly cooked, the goulash was tasty, and the lemonade was well prepared. The szagówki with chicken were also very good. I dined in the garden under the parasol on a sunny day. Despite having a reservation, there was no problem finding a place. The only downside was the shared toilet and having to queue. I will definitely return.
Starters were fantastic, the calamari were perfect, not rubbery, and the burrata with toast was beautifully presented and delicious. The raspberry infusion and white tea were also a plus. The main dishes were good but the salmon was overcooked and calling it salmon on spinach when there were only three leaves (in the picture, two since I ate one) is a joke. The fries and salad were good. The Hungarian pancake was good but slightly too salty. The service was very pleasant. Overall, a good outing, and I think we'll come back.
A very nice and cozy place, definitely recommended for breakfast or a warming drink. Large portions served neatly, and most importantly, they were delicious. The staff was very friendly, I recommend.
Very nice and helpful service.nThis time I had coffee, mulled wine, and cake, but next time we'll try other dishes.
Good cake and coffee. Nice service. A bit expensive.
A bistro with homemade food by the Old Market in Poznań.nnWe stopped by with a girlfriend on New Year’s Day in search of an open place to have coffee and something sweet. At first, I was unsure about the rustic decor (worried about mediocre food aimed at one-time tourists), but I admit I was wrong.nnWe initially went in for something sweet, and while the menu also has lunch options (maybe someday I'll get to try those), they had a seasonal menu from which I chose a rarely seen mulled cider with raspberries. My friend got a latte and apples with cherries baked under a crumbly topping (served with a scoop of ice cream), and I ordered a piece of Dacquoise cake. The latter surprised me with the addition of coffee in the filling, as I had known it only in a version with a caramel-flavored cream, but after checking online, it seems there are different versions (of course). Everything was tasty and disappeared quickly.nnAs for the interior, it consists of a narrow room on the ground floor (where the kitchen and cash register are also located), a cellar room (minus - no reception), and, as far as I know, a summer garden (currently closed due to the winter season).
I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the venue. At the entrance, we were directed to a table. Despite the significant traffic, we didn't have to wait long for our order. Our table was taken care of by two very polite young women, and a lovely waitress with black hair helped us with our choices. Everything tasted great, and the atmosphere matched our preferences. I wholeheartedly recommend it!!
We were looking for a place with my friend on a rainy evening and ended up here. A lovely place with character! While we weren’t in the mood for larger dishes, we indulged in soup, dessert, and a drink. As a vegetarian, I chose tomato cream soup, cheesecake with hot cherries and chocolate, and a non-alcoholic pear cocktail. I paid 72 PLN for everything, each item priced at 24 PLN. The cream was good, but it could have been thicker. My companion chose sour rye soup, a glass of wine, and chocolate bananas with whipped cream for dessert. She also enjoyed it. The service was nice, but we were asked to leave as they were about to close. Overall, delicious, but it would be worth taking care of better cleanliness. Bonus points for the beautiful tableware! :)
The place is very quiet and charming. The restaurant has original decor, and the fountain in the garden sets the mood.nThe food is very tasty, and the service is lovely prices are reasonable, and the seasonal cider was the perfect complement to the main course
