Last summer, we had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for lunch, and I must say - it was a true culinary masterpiece. I ordered the chicken, my partner opted for the classic pork chop, and we were both enchanted. The meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the sides were thoughtful and complemented the whole. Every bite was pure pleasure, the flavor melted in my mouth.nnWithout a doubt - one of the best restaurants in Poland. If someone appreciates excellent cuisine and unforgettable taste experiences, this is a place that must be visited.
I evaluate the restaurant, I did not use the hotel.nI dined with a group of four. Each person ordered completely different dishes, each was very tasty and beautifully presented. My vegetarian pumpkin steak was amazing!nWe were served by an efficient and competent waitress. The restaurant hall is pleasant, spacious, and nicely decorated.nThe downside is the reduced quantity of various drinks. The teapots were filled with water barely halfway. According to the tea menu, it should be 350 ml, but in the teapot, there was one small cup (the same for each of the four people). Freshly squeezed juice should be 300ml, it was about 200ml.
I have been here several times, so I can draw some average from my experiences. Unfortunately, it's only 3/5.nThe location of the restaurant is its greatest asset. It's beautiful at any time of year.nThe decor is the second big plus. Elegant, delicate, stylish accents, seasonal decorations. During the holiday season, it's downright magical. And that's it.nThe food is simply average, the price-to-quality ratio is too high. A little over a year ago it was tastier, currently, really nothing special, there are many restaurants in Poznań where you can eat tastier dishes at lower prices.nThe worst point is the service and the feeling of constant chaos. nSomeone at the entrance might smile and point to a table, but then there's a long wait without any interest in the customer. It takes a very long time to place an order. Dishes do not arrive at the same time for the whole table. Someone is waiting, someone's is already cooling; the staff cannot estimate the waiting time.nThe biggest disappointment was reserving a table for a family event. Upon arrival, it turned out that our table was occupied by another event. The staff totally didn't know what to do. Eventually, we were offered a different table in a small room, alongside another group also celebrating a family event.nAgain, everyone received their meals at different times.nOn another occasion, we wanted to take advantage of a promotion that the restaurant was running. We informed about it before the bill was issued, and despite that, they didn’t apply the promotion. Once again, chaos among the service, a cheap freebie offer appeared instead of a normal bill correction. I was embarrassed.nIt's not high quality, but for the view from the window, I occasionally return there.
A charming place worth returning to; however, no one from the staff mentioned that the breakfast bill would be paid with a gift voucher, which does not cover drinks. Unfortunately, I could not find such information on the voucher or your website, so it's a bit unclear to me.
We have been to this restaurant twice - the food was really delicious, and the reception service was fine, though without much enthusiasm. Unfortunately, every time the waitstaff was very rude - they forgot about our order, ignored us, and additionally, we waited almost an hour and a half for most dishes! Even though the food is tasty, we definitely won't be returning because of such terrible service. Such an approach to customers is unacceptable for us.
We organized a family event there. The service of everything - both the contact before the event and table service was very good.nThe food was fine (just that, but the menu we chose did not allow for extravagance).nUnfortunately, I will not decide to organize events at Port Sołacz for several important reasons:n1. I paid an extra 1000 PLN for a separate room, the photos provided by the service before suggested that the room would be private. Unfortunately, it was not, there were two other events next to us, and the noise was unbearable. I could not hear what the person sitting opposite me was saying. At that time, there were very few guests in the restaurant, and I went outside with my little one because it was intolerable. It only became pleasant after the other events ended.n2. The tables were covered with paper tablecloths, which tore from the platters, and a nasty conference table was visible underneath (not the wooden ones we know from restaurants, but a really ugly, dark plastic table - even though the pictures showed wooden tables).n3. When food is served on platters, which half of it remains uneaten, it would be good to at least ask about packing it to take away.
A stylish venue in the middle of the park. Just as beautiful outside as it is inside. Nice clean rooms with bathrooms. Inside it's warm and cozy. Comfortable narrow beds. However, regarding cleanliness, we found old cookies under the beds. Another downside is the small shower cabin, which you can bump into. Downstairs, a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, you have to wait for breakfast because there is table service and everything is ordered. Nice because everything is warm and prepared on the spot, but unfortunately my shakshuka did not meet my taste expectations. However, the cappuccino is delicious and beautifully presented. The location in the middle of the park invites for a walk. A beautiful little lake, lovely bridges, and greenery. A nice place at any time of the year.
Port Sołacz restaurant is a charming and elegant place, perfect for gatherings with family or friends. We were served by Ms. Agnieszka, whose professionalism and commitment fully deserve praise. Thanks to her, we felt exceptionally well taken care of - she was polite, attentive, and gladly advised us on dish selection.nnThe food also did not disappoint. The dishes were fresh, carefully presented, and full of flavor, and the atmosphere of the restaurant allowed us to relax and enjoy the moment. I recommend Port Sołacz to anyone looking for a classy place with professional service.
I don't know why they got a star, but it only means that the star is just commercialism or connections. The food is dramatic. Barking dogs in the restaurant is a bit weak. Desserts are tragic. The cheesecake has 3 cm of cake, 2 of cheesecake, and 2 of something on top, while the meringue was so hard and drenched in lemon juice that it couldn't even be cut with a knife. Seasonings from packets and cheap meringues bought probably from cheap markets don't lead to success. I understand that it's the only one in the area, but the star should obligate to something, and the restaurant simply took shortcuts quickly for a lot of money with minimal effort. I do not recommend.
Very nice service, tasty vegetarian option, although it would be nice to have a few more.nMrs. Wiesia, a very polite, friendly, and warm waitress! Thank you.nA caring and charming atmosphere in the restaurant!
