The café is small but cozy. The warm croissants are made on-site, and you can watch the process live through the glass. The size and taste of the croissants are top-notch, though the price stings a bit, but you can't expect anything less on the market square.nnThere's also a few other pastries to choose from in the shop; we found apple schnittes for sale during our visit, but they aren't always available.nnThe coffee is also very good quality; I think we liked it even more than the croissants
St. Martin's croissants are tasty in general, with a lot of filling, and you can even see the preparation process. The crazy price is a downside, and I'm not entirely convinced that the dough is suitable for this type of pastry.
However, a croissant made on-site is a different tune of flavor than the ones for St. Martin's from the supermarket:)nThe croissant, made on-site, was still steaming when we got it as a snack, and one can really get full from it.nIt tastes as good as it looks; a delicious sweet glaze mmm I could just eat it myself :)
