A cozy restaurant with friendly and helpful service. The dishes are delicious (the duck is pleasantly mild, creamy; the risotto is on point with flavor; and the cranberry sauce is silky with a pleasant bitterness; the kale surprised me - I need to work with it in my kitchen), elegantly presented, and the dessert is well-crafted with sweetness mellowed by gentle additives. The winter tea is flavored with natural spices. I will definitely return with my family.
I had goose, a tasty and well-composed dish, the meat was tender and juicy. The waiting time is long, and that's something to keep in mind, but I got an appetizer and managed to wait. The service was a bit disorganized, but the vibe was very pleasant, it's a nice and intimate place.
I visited the restaurant as part of Restaurant Week. I reserved a table for a specific time a few days in advance and also selected the menu I would be eating. I was surprised when I found out that I had to wait over 50 MINUTES for the appetizer, while guests with later reservations were served at the same time. We waited another 40 minutes for the main course. We only waited about 20-25 minutes for the undercooked dessert. Additionally, the waiter service was terrible. The staff didn't even know if the food was edible, as they only awkwardly tossed plates onto the table without reappearing by our table. The food was edible, but the burnt pierogies, overcooked duck fillet, and undercooked apple ruined the pleasure of eating. The cherry on top is the restroom. You have to go down a flight of stairs and pass several doors marked 'staff only' to finally find the throne. I do not recommend and will not return; I believe we should receive a refund for this waste of time.
Together with friends, we visited this restaurant during the Restaurant Week Festival. The restaurant and the dishes served are worth avoiding. The appetizer was tasty and gave hope that the restaurant would maintain that level, but the hope ended with the appetizer. The main course was a complete failure. The meat was tough, chewy, and of the worst sort, like cut scraps - membranes and tendons made it impossible to chew. If this happened to one person, however, five guests had the same problem... Portions are tiny, typically tasting. They could be sufficient if the dishes were edible. From the main dish, the only things eatable were a tiny carrot, two pieces of peas, and two small balls of buckwheat groats in panko. This so-called steak was the biggest disaster of this year's festival dishes. The dessert was a huge disappointment. We received five ultra-thin slices of raw pear sprinkled with sugar, one raspberry, a dot of mousse, and some remnants of meringue. Putting the pear together, the five of us at lunch managed to eat perhaps half of it. The dishes were presented beautifully. Presentation craftsmanship is not everything when flavor and quality leave much to be desired. I emphasize - this so-called steak was disgusting and an affront to the chef to have let this leave the kitchen. None of our party of five will return there, and we will ADVISE EVERYONE AGAINST this place. The bottom line is that of the entire meal, the best part was the FREE DRINK from the festival sponsor - Martini Fiero, but that reflects poorly on this venue as a restaurant... The aftertaste will remain.
I recommend the hotel and the restaurant. Varied breakfasts, homemade products (including homemade bread), and fresh food. A beautiful restaurant with lots of flowers around.nDelicious tartare and onion soup!
Delicious food, you can see that the chef knows what he is doing! Tasty appetizers, good service, great selection of single malt whiskies and cognacs, even Armagnac. I was just passing through the hotel and regretted not staying longer. Prices are reasonable, even low considering the quality.
Probably the best place... I ate three dishes, to which I would not add anything nor would I remove anything. (The only thing I would like is to increase the portion.) I laughed that the least tasty was the water. While having the dessert, I looked around to see if I could lick the plate :P Prices might not be low, but the food is worth every penny spent. I really recommend it. I will be returning.
A wonderful atmosphere, delicious dishes, I recommend it, reasonable prices.
On March 3, I had the opportunity to use the restaurant's services for an event (baptism + birthday). The contact with the restaurant manager before the event was adequate, the proposed offer was clear, and the price for the service was standard. The room was nicely prepared, and the food was quite tasty; unfortunately, the restaurant fell short in organizational matters. The venue's offer includes a so-called small menu. We arrived at the restaurant at the appointed time. We waited almost 40 minutes for our orders to be taken, then another 30 minutes for the soup to be served, and then more time for the main course. Additionally, dishes for two people were not served and arrived at the table with considerable delay; in total, lunch took over two hours, and we had been announced and the menu was quite limited (2-3 dishes to choose from). Portion sizes were very varied, and the soups arrived cold at the table. The restaurant also offered the possibility of adjusting the menu to individual needs (allergies, intolerances, etc.), and for some reason, only part of these requests were fulfilled. Moreover, desserts for adults ended up with the children and vice versa; the service lost control over this. When we were leaving the venue, we were encouraged to provide our opinions, feedback, and when these were given, they were not addressed in ANY way: neither 'thank you for the feedback', nor 'sorry', nor anything at all, and it left the greatest bad taste. On Facebook, it is evident that the restaurant responds only to positive opinions, not confronting aspects that could improve their service quality.
This evening we had the pleasure of partaking in the chef's dinner. First of all, we really liked that the menu was unique and just for us. There were dishes we would never order ourselves. The food was delicious, and the chef briefly talked about each dish and did so with a huge smile on his face. The whole experience was perfect and tasty. Very pleasant atmosphere. We definitely recommend this way of spending an evening with a delicious dinner. We greet the chef, Mr. Paweł, thank you. We also greet Ms. Natalia from the reception and all the staff who accompanied us.
