The ordered chicken filet had more breading than meat, and the meat itself didn't look great inside. The breading's taste was overpowering and masked the meat's flavor, plus it was quite tough. The only plus was that there was a lot of butter. The fries were underseasoned, and there were no spices on the tables to salt them yourself. There was a lack of mugs when there were about 20 people in the venue, which is a joke. Half of our group was just handed a bottle because there were no clean mugs available.
We were at the venue as a larger group on a Friday evening after classes. There were some customers, but many tables were still free. We ordered breaded fillet and chicken de volaille. The wait for the order took a very long time (over half an hour), and the fries were cold when they arrived, undersalted, with a strange taste, as if they had absorbed the flavor of other dishes. The fillet turned out to be dry; it can fill you up, but lacks flavor or enjoyment in eating. The salads had a peculiar taste. The portions were large, but the food quality was poor. There was a problem with cutlery; the waitress was shocked that we needed seven sets, and we also had to wait for those. The chicken de volaille took even longer. At least it had butter inside, and the fries were supposedly a bit warmer, but still underseasoned and not very tasty. There was no way to use salt to season the dishes. The service was disorganized. The food was of questionable quality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. You can eat inside and outside, but the benches outside were dirty.
The place might not look inviting at first glance, but the delicious cuisine definitely makes up for it. The portions are huge and very tasty, with well-seasoned soups and main courses. It would be good to refresh the interior a bit and refine the details, but culinary-wise, I highly recommend it.
We held our wedding at Pod Sosenką, and it was a very good choice! From the very beginning during the planning stage, we received a lot of support and help, with many tips and valuable advice that helped us make the best decisions. The atmosphere was incredible, warm, and family-friendly, the team was fantastic - engaged, polite, elegant, friendly, and patient, and the food… to say it was world-class is an understatement! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and really filling. The decorations were beautiful, crafted with great taste, considering our preferences and the event's atmosphere. The location of the hall is excellent - in the city, meaning good communication, taxis arrive quickly, yet it provides plenty of space, making it possible to take a stroll or have great outdoor photos. The garden is practically in the forest, which is also a big advantage! In summary, I sincerely recommend Pod Sosenką and we will definitely be returning!
I just wanted to inquire about reserving for a family celebration. I stood by the counter for about 5 minutes, and the waitress, collecting dishes from a table and passing by me three times, completely ignored me. When I looked at her, she rudely told me to come back later because she was serving a group. The group had around 7 people, and the rest of the restaurant was empty. I didn't even get a chance to say anything to her because she informed me of this in passing while going to the kitchen with the dishes. I have never been treated like this before, and I add that I was a waitress myself and can’t imagine treating a guest like this.
Quite expensive and not flavorful enough. I bought a seasonal tart, pasta with chanterelles, and a salad. Salad is hard to mess up. There was little chicken in it. The tart tasted store-bought. The pasta was pricey at 40 PLN, and there were only three chanterelles; there was also little chicken in it. Not the worst, but I probably won't return here.
You can eat here, the food is good, service is acceptable, but prices are a bit high.
We had lunch on Sunday around 1 PM; the restaurant was very clean, tidy, and cozy, and we were greeted by a polite waitress, with service at the highest level. We ordered tomato soup, pumpkin cream, and chicken de volaille - all dishes were delicious, fresh, and well-seasoned.
Ordered for takeaway. It seems today that salt and other spices ran out... bland tasteless food, zero spices, even the potatoes were boiled without salt. Plus for fresh salads, it's a pity they weren't seasoned and also plus for extra pickles. The pork cutlet was leftovers from a famous chain.
