We were just passing through Poznań and looking for something regional to eat, and we found the perfect spot. We ordered the pork cutlet with a swap of potatoes for dumplings and a chicken fillet cutlet. The chicken was juicy and very well fried. The pork cutlet was done to perfection, and the dumplings melted in our mouths. If someone is looking for home-cooked food in quite large portions at reasonable prices, I highly recommend it. The service also gets a thumbs up, very nice and helpful waitresses.
A very nice place in the heart of Poznań. The venue is located opposite the Koziołków. The food is very good! Our hearts were captured by the dumplings, the best we have ever eaten, very delicate. Delicious gray dumplings, good pork cutlet, and pork knuckle. The sautéed cabbage was perfectly sour. The service is also a plus, a very nice girl with beautiful long hair. A great place for both a date and going out with friends to watch a match. The venue is multi-story, very spacious.
Very good food! Potatoes and cottage cheese were amazing. The drinks are also at the same high level. The coffee was delicious, and I’ve probably never had better mulled wine. The brownie was also very tasty. A charming place located in the most beautiful spot in Poznań. However, the service we received on New Year’s was a drama, as both ladies seemed like they were working there out of obligation. But despite that, I recommend this place, as the food is good and really reasonably priced for this location. Maybe the waitresses will learn a lesson from this comment and will learn to be kinder to customers.
A place with charm, decorated in the '80s style (which for me is a plus). The liver was very good and overall, a very high level of cuisine. The beers were average, good for tourists.
I was just passing through Poznań, for one day, and I wanted to taste local cuisine; I ended up at Podkoziołek. And that was a bullseye. Special thanks to the super friendly lady who, despite the November cold, waited for guests outside the venue and invited them inside - warm regards! I tasted delicious gray dumplings with cracklings and cabbage and tasty mulled wine. My friend had potatoes with cottage cheese. I recommend it. Delicious!
On November 9, I visited Poznań with my family, and we had a joint lunch at this restaurant. Everything was tasty, and the price range, given the heart of the city, is reasonable. I had dumplings with goose and sauce with cranberry; others had potatoes with cottage cheese, liver, and gray dumplings. Additionally, they serve good beer with the taste of St. Martin's croissant. I recommend it.
The food was completely unsalted. The gray dumplings had no taste. The sauerkraut served with the dumplings was good. Unfortunately, the dumplings were poorly seasoned too. It’s great that this place offers regional dishes that are hard to find in other restaurants, but the taste needs more work. The service was sluggish. The atmosphere of the place is pleasant. The location is right by the market.
We were thrilled with our visit to this restaurant! The dishes were exceptional. The service was top-notch. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who appreciates Polish cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere!
The only restaurant at lunchtime that was ready to serve lunch in 30 minutes, even though 2-3 tables were free. The surprise was that the meal was served even earlier! I recommend even more since it is opposite the Koziołków, and you can taste local dishes and beer.
A very nice place with good food in the center of the Old Market. The pork schnitzel with a sunny-side-up egg was excellent, fresh, hot, and crispy. The gray dumplings with cabbage were also very good, soft, hot, well-seasoned, and the sour cabbage was perfectly balanced. Friendly service, reasonable prices. The menu offers many regional dishes. I highly recommend it!
