Recently, I had the opportunity to visit La Forno pizzeria and I must admit that it was a real culinary discovery! Their pizza is a true masterpiece. The dough is perfectly baked – thin, but at the same time gently crispy. The tomato sauce is clearly prepared fresh, full of aroma and properly seasoned, and the toppings are of the highest quality. I especially remembered the pizza with mozzarella di bufala and spicy Italian pepperoni, which literally melted in my mouth. Definitely a place worth recommending!
We didn't have the opportunity to see this enchanted garden with our friends, but it's still a nice and cozy place. The service is at the highest level, and the pizza is super tasty with the highest quality ingredients. I recommend the pizza with burrata.
We were with friends on 2.01.2025, which was the first day after a break. Despite this, the service did a great job. The chefs prepared delicious food, and the waiter (unfortunately I don't remember his name) welcomed us wholeheartedly at the highest level. A team of 8 + other tables in the hall, and the restaurant managed to get a 5+.nI highly recommend it, if you are in Poznań, you will definitely eat there ☺️
The food was served quickly, we ordered a pizza and we entered an hour before the restaurant closed, so we were informed that we could only order pizza or pasta. The service was nice, the drinks were ok, but the amount of ice in the mojito was a bit excessive. I know that restaurants often skimp on alcohol, but it was a bit of a letdown when you pay around 30zl for a glass filled with practically ice. Besides, our visit was in a pleasant atmosphere.
The food is delicious, the service is very nice. The only thing missing on a hot day is a fan because it's really hot outside with temperatures over 30 degrees. But the place is great, and if you like Italian cuisine, this is the place!
A truly enchanted garden that will make every meeting acquire a unique atmosphere. An ideal place to organize a Baby Shower - our event took place in a wonderful atmosphere. The service was at the highest level, friendly, helpful, made everything go smoothly. The chef prepared delicious dishes from high-quality products, 17 participants, each found something for themselves, unique variety of dishes and appetizers, everyone was delighted. Definitely a place worth visiting.
The food is excellent, but there are huge problems with the communication of the staff and the correctness of the served dishes.nnInstead of ravioli (small stuffed dumplings with ricotta cheese, meat or vegetables - most often spinach) we got gnocchi. The waiters tried to convince us that this is the dish, but I love Italian cuisine too much to not distinguish ravioli from gnocchi. Since we are people of a certain level, we did not make any problems about it because personal culture requires behavior that is appropriate for a given situation - this applies equally to people offering services as well as to those receiving them.nWe ate what we got, but the taste remained.nnHowever, returning to the dishes of Italian cuisine served in the 'Olivio' restaurant. The gnocchi were correct, the filling was not soaked with sauce. The sauce was made correctly, but slightly salted.nBaked pasta with spinach very good. The delicateness of spinach and pasta was well balanced. The sauce was excellent.nAs for my pasta 'Aglio e Olio', unfortunately, there are more minuses than pluses. It was terribly salted. The olive oil was heavily exaggerated. It took away the whole taste. The cheese was not felt at all, and when it came to the further, only the spiciness was felt. The only plus is that the pasta is obviously homemade, made al dente. Overall, very poor pasta.nAs for the flagship Italian dessert, namely Tiramisu, there are only pluses. The cocoa was well matched with coffee and the mass.nWater with fruits very rare without taste. Terrible.nOverall, unfortunately, I will not return to this restaurant, but I think that as a 'one-time' shot in Poznań, it may be an option. But with a big emphasis on an option.nBelow is a full presentation of the meals eaten.
For many years, it has been one of the best restaurants in Poznań. It is great to sit in the beautiful garden, which is very popular. The food is very good, quite expensive. All ingredients are fresh, dishes are well seasoned. A wide selection of drinks. The pizza is excellent - but it is definitely not the best pizza in Poznań.
I am extremely pleased with the visit. Above all, the garden is amazing, which truly evokes Italian atmospheres. It rarely happens that such things are replicated. The interior is less interesting, hence I advise eating in the garden.nnSecondly, very good dishes. I ate one of the better foccacia I have ever tried - aromatic, crispy, full of taste. Pizza and gnocchi did not make such a fuss, but on level.nnThirdly, service is phenomenal. The waiter is a golden man, unobtrusive, and at the same time it was clear that he cares about my good experience. He advised professionally, and most importantly, he was able to implement unusual taste compositions, which is not possible everywhere.nnThe only minus is really high prices. Although the foccacia was worth it, the other dishes were not that much. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it. I have a feeling that this is authentic Italian cuisine, which enhances the garden's atmosphere.
More than three weeks ago I called and booked a table at Olivio, so I had somewhere to go on Valentine's Day. On February 14, I noticed a post on the Olivio profile that they were not taking reservations for today. I called the restaurant to find out what was going on and if I had somewhere to go for dinner. The man who answered the phone told me that they were not taking reservations for today but would ask the 'shift boss'. After a short conversation, the shift boss took over the phone and told me that it was not possible for me to book a table for today in advance... After a while, he tried to insinuate that maybe I didn't call the right restaurant and to make me believe that I didn't book anything... despite the fact that I was sure I made the reservation at OLIVIO (which I later confirmed in the call log - the same number today and three weeks ago..). I had recommended Olivio to friends before, but from today that will change. It's a pity because I was there several times and the food was tasty. Unfortunately, I have to join the previous negative opinions about the service in connection with what happened to me on Valentine's Day.....
