Friendly service and delicious food that looks beautiful and tastes even better. The interior is nice and cozy.
Everything was good and pleasant, but I think the menu could be a bit more varied for the main course.
It was my first time and I must say, quite an interesting place. When it's warm, I love sitting in the restaurant gardens because it's usually cozier there. Unfortunately, this place lacks a cozy vibe; it's neat, and the garden is quite large, but everything feels subdued. I understand that this is probably due to the style of this place since it's also a hotel. On the plus side, I had a craving for a burger, and I must say it was very tasty and well-made, so the food is a plus. However, I have to comment on the service. It might be due to the size of the garden, but we weren’t noticed by the staff for a very long time despite being informed that someone would approach us shortly. No one showed up, so I decided to go inside to get menus and informed them that we were at the back and might be unnoticeable. Another waiting time ensued, and driven by hunger, I had to go inside again to place my order. Eventually, we got our food, but they served two identical dishes, meaning they mixed up the order. I received my burger after another 15-20 minutes.nIn summary, the restaurant is fine; the food is a plus, but the service had a chaotic day, although there weren’t many people. The garden could be more inviting, perhaps with the gas heaters you often see (those columns with fire), as they create a nice ambiance and could warm up the subdued space on chilly days or evenings.
✅ Service 5/5: friendly, smiling, helpful. The lady who served our table seemed a bit stressed. At the beginning, we were informed about which dishes from the menu were unavailable. n✅ Interior decor 5/5: definitely a super atmospheric patio, ample space, plus for the ping pong table to play with friends while waiting for the dishes n✅ Food 5/5: it's not my top choice in terms of dishes, but it was tasty; too bad some items from the menu were unavailable as I had a craving for halibut. n✅ Prices 4/5: normal prices n✅ I would happily visit this place again and try a different dish ‍♂️
I had the opportunity to be a guest during a family event at the restaurant, which is located in the interestingly designed PURO Hotel by the Old Market in Poznań. The interior is modern, with a slightly loft style and pleasant lighting.nnThe meeting took place in a separate section of the building, where in addition to the main hall, we had toilets, a cloakroom, and a coffee lounge at our disposal. This created a nice, intimate atmosphere where adults could talk quietly while the children present at the event could play together and run around without disturbing the other hotel guests. The room had carpet flooring, sonnAs for the food, everything was incredibly delicious and very appetizing. Plus for the large selection of teas and tasty coffee (two espresso machines for our use, including a large one that also made chocolate).nnThis is a good place for a smaller family event like christenings, birthdays, or other communions. Plus, it’s in the city center; you can conveniently take public transport and not worry about parking.
The restaurant accepted a reservation for goose dishes for November 11. Unfortunately, when we arrived for dinner with 6 people, it turned out that the goose theme was not addressed; the staff acted as if these dishes were never served. We did not receive the festive menu, which, as it turned out, included about four items with goose. The promotional post on Facebook regarding these dishes was deleted. When we asked for information about the dishes for November 11, we received a small menu, but the staff said, 'It says goose here, but it's duck leg. We only have three portions of soup from goose.'nnEveryone knew the reservation was made specifically for dishes with this particular type of poultry, yet we received not even a single 'sorry,' while the restaurant tried to pretend as if the matter had never existed.nnIt is normal in gastronomy that some products run out sometimes, and from Saturday to Monday, which is a day off, they cannot be replenished.nnHowever, the problem is the attitude and strategy taken by the restaurant.nNext time, having a phone number for guests, they should quickly inform them of the situation regarding the failure to meet reservation conditions.nnI doubt the restaurant management would want to be treated this way.
We visited for restaurant week, and we preferred the vegetarian menu. The dessert was delicious. Very nice service. Elegant decor.
Very friendly and professional service, delicious drinks, but most importantly… you will eat the best pork schnitzel of your life here, I highly recommend it.
The restaurant was preparing a special menu for November 11, which included goose. We made a reservation for 4 PM according to the post on Facebook. It turned out that the goose was finished. No information over the phone, no information at the entrance; only after taking our seats and attempting to order goose did we find out it was unavailable. I consider this a lack of respect for the customer and regret that this restaurant surprised me so negatively.
Cozy, nice, great service, and delicious food. We recommend.
