I was there as a wedding photographer and discovered this hidden gem in the heart of the city!nnThis place is perfect for those who dream of a cozy, intimate, and relaxed outdoor wedding. The dance space is ample, and outside there are charming spots for chilling. I think it would also be a great venue for a family event, as it has a super location :)
It's hard to find a place in Poznań as wonderful, charming, and great as this. We try to visit as often as possible and are amazed every time at how special this place is. Definitely the best cuisine in all of Poznań, always with smiling staff overflowing with advice and interesting concepts. The atmosphere, decor, and warmth of the fireplace – it's hard to describe in words. A place that should be number one in Michelin guides. We love it!
A week ago, my husband and I chose this place for a Mexican-style wedding party. It was a shot in the dark. Very helpful owner adapted the menu to fit the theme of the event. Additionally, the staff prepared the venue just as we imagined it could look. The service during the event was phenomenal, guests still talk about the service, especially one lady (sorry, I forgot her name!).nThe food was delicious and in large quantities.nThank you for a wonderful evening!
Interestingly prepared very good food. Nice decor. Friendly service. I recommend.
In short – we really liked it. Both the food, the interior decor, and the service are of high quality. The concept of sharing food, which this place promotes, is very dear to me, and it is even my favorite.nnWe tried several appetizers (olives, carrots, and pimento padron) as well as ribeye and gnocchi. Everything was very tasty, sometimes surprisingly seasoned but always prepared to perfection. They even managed to fry the ribeye medium rare, despite the fact that it was a tiny piece (that’s what I asked for). We were also pleasantly surprised by the gnocchi with chorizo, which were tender and slightly stretchy and had a spicy kick from the sausage. The bread deserves a separate mention, as it is delicious, fresh, and goes perfectly with olive oil. When it comes to wine, everyone will definitely find something for themselves, as the selection is large and the staff is knowledgeable. I must commend the house wine, which is often neglected but was of really good quality here.nnThis place is truly worth recommending. I think it will be even cozier when the fireplace is lit. We would love to check that out!
Food sharing – something I encountered for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! As a result, I had a bit of everything from the menu and was full – not overstuffed. The service was very good, and the chef performed wonderfully (heavenly delicious!!!)! I will definitely be returning – hopefully as often as possible! I recommend it! It’s best to go with a group – the more people, the greater the variety of dishes.
A very nice place, with good wine and snacks. It's a shame you can't leave tips on a card, as we didn’t have cash, but the service was very nice and helpful.
Food sharing – the whole magic of sharing food!!! Something I encountered for the first time. Awesome... you order several dishes, everything goes in the middle of the table, and everyone serves themselves what they want. The waitress, the cheerful p. Julia, introduced us very carefully to this amazing journey!nEverything was wonderfully tasty, flavors balanced and surprising. Personally, I recommend the shrimp and carrots, and the wonderful pumpkin soup. My husband was thrilled with the beef cheeks. And on top of that, perfectly paired wine...nWe will definitely be back to experience ‘heaven in our mouths’ again.nBest regards and thank you for a wonderful culinary journey :))
The place is very nice and in a great location next to Wodziczki Park. However... that's probably it. The food is just okay, nothing spectacular. Additionally, I think it’s overpriced for the portions. I went there on a friend’s recommendation, but it turned out that the menu and the whole 'concept' have changed. Currently, it seems more suitable for drinks along with a 'little something' to eat rather than a proper meal. The menu is focused on sharing dishes served on platters. The service didn’t impress me either.
For years I passed by Magazyn thinking that someday I must finally come here.nnAnd it finally happened. It was a summer Sunday afternoon, the restaurant had been open for 1.5 hours, yet they were just starting to clean and dust the place. But never mind... I sat down in the garden.nnA waiter came trying to explain the restaurant's concept, but did it so clumsily that I still don’t understand it. Maybe this food sharing makes sense when you come with a group? I was alone and had no idea how it worked. Besides, I think I wasn’t the only one, as there were several other guests during my visit who left without ordering anything after hearing about the restaurant's idea and browsing the menu. Today I regret not doing the same ;)nnThe menu is very short, the idea incomprehensible, so I just ordered a salad with duck. I received a bowl of salad with pieces of duck. After finishing half, the waiter came and brought bread for the salad. The timing was poor, but whatever... if it weren’t for that freshly baked bread, it would have been one star, but thanks to it, it’s two stars ;)
