I visited this place during the Poznań for half price event. You had to make a reservation because there were so many people. I must admit that with so many customers, the service was slow and we had to wait for everything. But it was worth it. Great Tom Yun soup, with big, crispy shrimp, spicy and creamy. I rate miso lower. The sushi itself is nice and tasty. Available in various versions, including vegetarian, and with smoked and grilled fish for less experienced gourmets. The interior is clean and spacious. I will definitely go back there.
My second visit was even better than the first. Although I had to wait a while, I was with a large group. The friendly service and delicious appetizer made the time pass quickly. My poke was delicious, light and fresh!nIt's quite a large dish for one person, but the take-out option offered by the very friendly waitress made me look forward to a good lunch at work tomorrow :) I will definitely come back to try more dishes. I recommend!
The restaurant itself is very positive. There are many people to serve, ladies who take orders, advise and are very polite. As for the decor, it is very pleasant and atmospheric, the food itself is tasty, the fish is fresh, and the rice was, in my opinion, one of the best I have ever eaten. Although it is slowly becoming the norm, we were given leftovers to take away without any additional charge. The only minus that has a significant impact on the overall assessment is the waiting time, with a small number of people in the room, it was an hour, a bit of a shame, but I will definitely go back there.
I do not recommend this place at all when ordering through the internet. Less than an hour before the chosen delivery time, I received a message that my order was rejected.nThe manager during the conversation was defending himself by saying that their system allows placing orders at times when the place is closed. However, these orders are accepted or rejected after the place is open.nSo the customer waits for the fact that his order may still be graciously accepted and processed instead of going to the competition.nWhen asked about the reason for rejecting the order, the manager was unable to provide it.nnFor someone who values peace and likes to have everything planned in advance, this is a very unattractive place.nnP.S. As a response to the restaurant, instead of admitting the mistake and apologizing to the customer, it is better to shift the blame entirely to him. I am talking about the mistake of the place, which is aware of it. After my contact with the place, if you go back to placing new orders, you can see the information posted on the photo. So, as you can see, you can post information about the impossibility of using online orders. If such information were visible earlier, I myself, as well as many other people, would not have any problems. After the response itself, the restaurant's attitude to customers is clear. This is the first time I have encountered such an illogical and non-constructive approach to solving consumer problems.
In my opinion, the best sushi in Poznań. But from the beginning. The place - bright and very clean. Pity that there is no garden where you could eat, like in Goko. They still lack a wine list, but I think they will sort it out quite quickly. The service is very friendly, smiling, helpful. Sushi - delicious.
Delicious sushi (including shark!), created by real professionals and served in a truly unique way. The place is very nice, modern and minimalist at the same time, the service is friendly... I highly recommend it! :)
The food is super delicious and the service is very nice, I recommend it! :)
Kenko is very elegant in terms of decor, and the sushi tastes delicious, but what good is that if I'm not going to go there again? Firstly, the waiting time was disproportionate to the number of tables. When we entered the restaurant, only one table was occupied, and we still waited for over an hour for our order... And yet, the room is designed for a very large number of guests and should be able to cope with 2 tables. Secondly, after such a long wait, it was simply cold in there. The room was simply not heated enough. The tea we ordered for the sushi was already cold a long time ago, when our order appeared on the table. Thirdly, you can be more annoyed when you wait for food for an hour and at the same time every now and then people appear to pick up their take-out orders... In short, a repetition of the same mistakes that were made in Goko. I'm losing my appetite.
As an introduction, the food itself is fine. It tastes good, I recommend it.nnBut the rest I can't forgive.nnThe other day I was here on the memorable Valentine's Day two years ago when the restaurant was still called Goko. Then I waited for my order for over two hours and I didn't get it.nnSince then Goko was supposed to be only for take-away and Kenko was a restaurant where you can eat only on the spot. At least I understood it that way.nnEnough of theory, in practice we ordered one set for four people and we waited for over 1.5 hours. And before we entered the restaurant there was only one table occupied. In the meantime people were coming in who ordered sets for take-away and were leaving... I advise you to think about your strategies for this year's Valentine's Day.nnIn addition, the restaurant is TERRIBLY COLD. If you plan a romantic dinner where your partner will wear a dress, heels, it's better to have a hot soup ready at home. Sushi unfortunately won't warm you up, after we left everyone had chills.nnI will tell you how it should look like.nWhen placing an order if the waiting time is longer than 30 minutes it is in good taste to inform the guests about it.nnIn case of waiting for over an hour it is worth apologizing and as a compensation to offer a free soup, a small appetizer or something to drink.nnIt's nice when a candle on the table doesn't bother anyone and actually burns.nnNot to mention that a warm towel to wipe your hands raises the level of the restaurant in the eyes of the customer. A detail but it's nice.nnSo that's it. Congratulations to those who made it. I'm posting a photo of the lamp, it's very nice. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the food, everyone was too hungry to wait any longer.nnSee you in two years.
The place definitely wins with excellent lunch sets, which also have a very good quality / quantity / price ratio. The onigiri rice is also excellent. I have often considered eating rice for lunch, but there was always something in the lunch set that tempted me :) next in line is yakitori, although here the minus is that although yakitori means grilled chicken, there are only 2 chicken skewers among 8 in total. Sushi is unfortunately average. So far, I have only tried Bao. the composition is okay, but the meat is rubbery, and the portion size is disappointing in relation to the price. A slight minus is also for the service - the waitress was somehow lost, not very charismatic and stressed. When serving a larger order for 7 people, the waitress was embarrassed that some guests did not understand how the lunch set works, and the misunderstanding was due to the fact that she presented the offer in a rather underhanded way. The result was that 3 orders were messed up, but fortunately she did not make a big deal about it. The decor and atmosphere of the place suggest that the service should be at the highest level, but there is a bit of a lack.
