I dropped by JaKubek yesterday after a year of absence, and I was amazed by the drop in quality. Once one of the best cocktail bars at the highest level, now a big disappointment. I ordered a pistachio drink that was sour despite having no lemon or lime in the recipe. I approached the bartender with a complaint and was told that lemon is indeed in the drink's recipe and it was not a mistake. The drink was completely unbalanced, as was my girlfriend's, which was overly sweet. Good place for beer, but unfortunately no longer for cocktails.
A place with great potential, unfortunately the drinks taste different every day, depending on who makes them. The same drink looked and tasted completely different on Sunday (it was delicious) and on Tuesday (much lower quality).
Massacre, we ordered a pistachio liqueur drink and a strawberry one, the bartender made a mistake and added lemon to the pistachio drink which should have gone into my drink according to the recipe on the board, and the sugar syrup meant for my drink went into my partner's. The result? The pistachio-chocolate drink tasted terrible and was sour, mine was so sweet that it was undrinkable. When we went to the 'bartender' to ask what happened and if she could make them again, she insisted that this is how these drinks taste and even said she didn't like it either xD we had to finish the awful drinks because we didn't get new ones made properly I do not recommend, previous bartenders were nice and knew what they were doing, I don't know what happened here but it's a disaster.
I wholeheartedly recommend it, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, great music in the background, and the decor adds to it all. And the biggest asset of this place is bartender Michał, a cheerful guy with a passion who makes the best drinks under the sun (I appeal for a raise). See you soon again! :)
The bar has its defined standards . The service is always very decent. They serve cocktails, shots, and beers - I have never had a bad experience. The decor is specific enough that not everyone will like it, but I like it very much. Hah, you could even say that it is a significant point on the map of Poznań ♡
I highly recommend it, Mr. Michał is the king of drinks, he knows how to find the perfect composition for everyone - the best bartender! The drinks taste fantastic, and Mr. Michał radiates energy and can perfectly meet the demands
We had a lovely time here over two evenings, the bartender gave great advice and paired us with fantastic drinks. It wasn't as crowded as the surrounding places.
The best drinks in the city, especially when Kasia and Kuba are behind the bar. I recommend it!
Kasia makes delicious drinks, she is 100% the right person for this place.
