Unfortunately, the food was very poor, we chose a half-plate of variety for 2 people. The pancake was cold, on it were several pancakes of various dishes, everything without taste and very spicy, not to mention the appearance. Frozen carrots, ice lettuce with vinegar, generally a failure. The restaurant was dirty, without atmosphere, the waiter speaks only English, excuse me, this is Poznań in the middle of Poland. I do not recommend the cashier thrown in the mud!!!
The food is delicious.nThe set for two was just enough for us.nOur set was rather spicy, which we really liked.nOnly the wine was mediocre. Overall, very positive experiences :)
Fantastic flavors, I recommend eating with bare hands! Beef dishes are definitely outstanding. The only minus is the small portions compared to the price. They should add two pancakes because one is too little.
I was expecting a bigger firework.nThe cake was cold, quickly soaked up the sauces, so it was impossible to pick up the food with it - in the end I asked for cutlery.nThe staff was nice, but it annoyed me that if I don't know English, I can't really communicate (I'm in my own country after all…)nI was expecting a bigger firework…. I was, I tried it, but I won't visit again :(
One of the best tatars we have eaten (kifto)! In general - great cooked meat. The serving itself is impressive, plusnthe possibility of eating in the traditional way (with hands), but anyone who feels uncomfortable with it will be given cutlery. The service is very friendly, although it is visible that they are still learning how to serve - I really hope they get it right. The food is spicy, but delicious.
A wonderful place with a explosion of flavors on the plate. Super prepared menu, in addition to the food itself, you can learn more about the culture of the country, I really appreciate this element. A super charming little eatery with friendly service. It was also very nice to eat with hands. I will definitely come back to try more dishes, especially the vegetarian ones!
The restaurant is unusual, but very good.nWe were 4 people and we took a sharing set (the cost with drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert is 360 zł). We had a little bit of each dish and everything tasted good. Samosas were also delicious - a bit different from the Indian ones, because they are made on yeast dough.nBeer and Ethishe orange juice are a nice change from cola, which is served everywhere.nIn my opinion, it is worth visiting this restaurant.
I heard about this place and decided to check it out. The atmosphere is not Versailles but it's supposed to be like in Ethiopia. The service is really bad with the Polish language. Fortunately, it didn't bother me. And now to the point. Food different from various cuisines and in different parts of our region. Although this beef reminded me of battles with a strong cayenne accent, samosa dumplings were incomparable with anything. Both were excellent. Maybe this white cheese (it was an addition to beef) in Ethiopia tastes differently, it's diluted with half-fat cottage cheese from biedra or lidla. Interesting taste of these, let's say pancakes - injera. Such a wet, rye... but perfect for dipping in sauce. Vegetarian soup not very expressive. Honey wine intense though shallow.nI'll go back there one hundred percent.
At the entrance, the place is quite atmospheric, mainly thanks to the pictures and photographs related to Ethiopia. The music in the background does not deviate from the African atmosphere itself. The service could be better known in Polish, because it may create a big problem for someone who does not know English. Generally, the service itself without major reservations. Moving on to the dishes we chose, we were guided by the idea of trying as many of these exotic flavors as possible, which is why sets for 1 or 2 people are a good choice. Both in the vegetarian, meat, and also the poultry version. Personally, I recommend this option consisting of several dishes, as everyone will always find something that will taste better to them. I personally prefer meat dishes, as they were more expressive in taste. You also have to prepare yourself that the dishes have a different level of spiciness. The vegetarian version is tasty but less expressive for me. We also ordered samosa as an appetizer, exceptionally with strawberry filling, which was a nice surprise. Of course, we were asked if we want to try such a version. Ethiopian tea, with a surprising aroma of cloves and cinnamon, is also available on site. Beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks are also from those areas. In summary, a place worth visiting, trying other flavors, I think not encountered on a daily basis.
What impressed me the most was the mix, so many flavors on one plate! From juicy meats to aromatic vegetables, everything perfectly complemented their unique, sour injera. It was a real feast for the palate and a great experience in Ethiopian cuisine!
