Great place for a break while strolling through beautiful Solacki Park. A good idea to stop here for coffee or tea with a great variety of tarts. You can also snack on other dishes, including lunch.
A small venue with an interesting interior. The decor resembles the style of bygone days. Leather sofas, armchairs, and wooden tables. Pleasant music plays throughout the space. The place is divided into two rooms. The first has the cash register and tart counter, while the second has a small dining area with tables and sofas. The waiting time is about 20 minutes. I ordered a Feta tart with tomatoes, olives, and Provencal herbs, on puff pastry. Very tasty, well-seasoned. The crust was crispy while the filling was delicate and fluffy. A bit short on tomatoes and even fewer black olives, but there was plenty of feta. Still, I highly recommend this place. This is the second time I’ve bought a tart here, and I am very satisfied.
Every visit to Solacki Park is connected with... the Connector, the French one, of course. I love the atmosphere here, especially in spring and early autumn. The tarts are delicious.
We tried a dacquoise and a raspberry tart. The dacquoise was great with a lot of cream and a wonderfully crispy meringue on top and soft inside. The raspberry tart was also very good.
Super place, very tasty tarts, and a pleasant garden, perfect for a break while walking in the park. Additionally, it's pet-friendly. The only downside is that a second toilet in the building would be helpful; there is only a well-maintained portable toilet at the entrance.
I wouldn't have expected that at such an affordable price, you can get such a delicious piece of cake. The atmosphere around Solacki Park positively affects the experience. The staff was very nice despite the heavy crowd. 5/5, the fact that the toilet is a portable one doesn't bother me, but it's a matter of attitude.
We had a tart with goat cheese and tomatoes, a tart with bacon, and a dacquoise. We drank teas, one winter and one jasmine. Everything tasted very good, worthy of five stars. A small downside was the unclean outdoor table and the slippery space outside, full of leaves. Also, the heating time was a bit long. I wanted to say some positive words about the food, but the waitresses were too busy talking. Not a complaint, but it's nice to exchange a few pleasantries upon leaving. The receipt did not reflect the names of what we ordered, but the amount was correct – 3 people over 80 PLN, which is fine.
For years there has been a lack of a proper toilet in the mini garden, you drink coffee next to a portable toilet... Weak. The tarts are nothing special. Only the coffee is okay but not impressive.
From what I've heard, the tarts from French Connector are indeed exquisite, but the problem is not with them. We ordered 4 frozen coffees, and only one person finished theirs. For the price of 16 PLN, I absolutely do not recommend. It tasted more like cheap instant coffee with added milk, water, and ice. After the first sip, you wouldn't want to take another.nThe toilet also leaves much to be desired, being a regular brown-painted portable toilet with an unpleasant smell and barely functioning water. The decor is a matter of taste; some people like mixed styles, but one thing has to be said: the lack of cleanliness. Lots of bird droppings, uncleaned tables, and dirty furniture. As I mentioned earlier, friends highly recommend this place regarding the tarts, so that's why I'm giving it a second star. If I had encountered this place for the first time today, I wouldn't return.
A place with a pleasant atmosphere, in a great location. Low rating for service. We were looking for a spot for a small family gathering (a few people), and with ample notice, we contacted them regarding the possibility of making a reservation. Staff didn't respond to our email at all, and on the phone, we were informed that a reservation for the given date and number of people would indeed be possible, but we should contact them 1-2 days before the chosen date. We did just that, only to find out that reservations are not possible on weekends, and for such a number of guests, there probably wouldn't be any space. All our plans had to be changed at the last minute. Very unprofessional.
