I stumbled upon this place by accident since other venues were closed, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised! Both the coffee and tea were really good – especially the one with honey. The lady serving was very friendly, and we even chatted a bit, which added charm to this place. The only downside is the restroom - a toilet outside.nI definitely recommend and will certainly return at the next opportunity!
I had chocolate cake with cherries, and I can sincerely recommend it. The service was very nice and eager to help when we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat or drink. I will definitely come back here more than once.
A super atmospheric place! Upon entering, you don’t really see that you can go downstairs where it is even cozier! Some soft music could play, because despite the separate rooms, you can hear every conversation next door...
Terrible service. I do not recommend. The rude waitress refused to sell me a cake despite it being displayed for sale, stating it was ordered. If the item is ordered, it shouldn't be displayed for sale. This is the third time I’ve faced such a situation in this place where I was denied the offer. Shame! I advise the owner of this café to replace the staff, as it seems to work against him.
Very nice, atmospheric place, friendly service, exceptional pumpkin soup – better than my homemade one I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I recommend the sweet tart, noting that it is really sweet.nKajmak - Caramel and kajmak tart with cream on a thin layer of puff pastry. Very good and sweet; perfect with tea and coffee.nAlso, this tart is ideal for those allergic to cocoa (chocolate). Most sweet tarts contain chocolate, it’s worth asking before choosing.n I cannot recommend the savory ratatouille tart; I did not like its texture, it was too soggy.nnVery friendly service, warm local, comfortable sofas, chairs, tables decorated in a French style, and available restroom. The location has to be reached by stairs (first floor), there are more cozy places up steep stairs (basement), which are also very nicely decorated.nnIt will be harder for someone in a wheelchair or using crutches. There is an architectural barrier in the form of a few steps.
The place is very atmospheric, interesting menu proposals, but unfortunately, the service is very unprofessional. During nearly ten minutes of waiting at the counter to place an order (we were the second in line, but after a moment the person in front of us gave up, so it was just us - 3 people), the ladies working there didn’t even say a word, didn’t respond to our 'good morning,' just walked by, collected dishes, chatted amongst themselves, loaded the dishwasher, and handed out orders to other customers. Unfortunately, we had to find another place. This is not the first time that the service has been questionable. I don’t know if I will try to eat here again.
Yesterday, I randomly came in with my boyfriend for coffee and didn’t think I would leave so satisfied! Very atmospheric place and delicious quiche. The americano was also great, and maybe my first pumpkin spice where you can actually taste the pumpkin. Kudos for the recipe nWe were told that there would be a bit longer waiting time due to high traffic, and everything came out as it does in any other café. From this place, I send greetings to my namesake who served us ❤ she gave excellent recommendations and, despite being busy, kept smiling. We will visit again!
The best tart I've ever eaten... I never thought savory tart could taste so good. Mega atmosphere and great service.
We stumbled upon this place accidentally while passing by the Palm House and were enchanted by the atmosphere and the delicious warm cinnamon croissants. Highly recommend!
