A charming place on Poznań's Ostrów Tumski✨nValentine's Day dinner with free appetizers from the restaurant and a welcome drink. Big plus for the option to change to a non-alcoholic choice nLive music nI deducted one star for the food, as that is the most important aspect of the evening n1) Beef Wellington - 89 PLN, and the portion was small. A piece of beef looked like about 100g, the truffle potatoes were tasty but still lacked another side dish to make the composition complete to the point of being filling. As for a main course, the portion seemed very small.n2) Cauliflower steak - 54 PLN and here, unfortunately, a big disappointment. I expected a

, a piece of cauliflower in honey and parmesan. Unfortunately, it turned out that if it's the center of the cauliflower, it's called a steak, and when it remains, that's how it is also served. For me, that's cutting corners, paying this much for a vegetarian dish deserves a solid portion, especially since there was no starchy side. The naming also defines the type of dish. I did not expect this.nAdditionally, the vegetables were relatively hard, some cold, and the tempura cauliflower was cold and no longer crunchy. Also, the cherry tomatoes and salsa were cold. The dish needs improvement; in my opinion, in this form, it should be removed from the menu or refined. Unfortunately, I left hungry.

Another charming gem on Ostrów Tumski located off the main path near the cathedral. Quiet, peaceful, friendly service, and delicious desserts give it an amazing ambiance.

Tasty food, a very pleasant atmosphere in the establishment, beautiful interior, and an extremely courteous waiter, who was very attentive and fulfilled all our wishes. I would like to express my immense gratitude to the staff and the Food Fort restaurant for making our festive lunch so cozy and warm.

A very pleasant restaurant – clean, with a nice aroma and in a nice, modern style. Most dishes were delicious: tartare, salmon, and tomato cream truly delighted. The sweet finale in the form of an excellent mango cheesecake was the perfect conclusion to the meal. Unfortunately, the pork neck turned out to be a total disaster – it was tough and dry, almost inedible. If it weren't for the pleasant atmosphere, I would have considered complaining about that dish.

Nice restaurant. It has its own atmosphere and is tastefully decorated.nThe menu is short, but the served dishes are really tasty, of good quality, and beautifully presented.nThe first downside (and that's why only 4 stars for food instead of 5) is that the portions are simply small. It's really hard to get full with such small pork neck or fish. I write this after visits where several people, including very petite women, made the same observation.nAnother downside is that the restaurant does not have parking for guests (it's simply a city restaurant), and the indicated parking is paid and expensive, located a few meters further. This clashes with it.

Food Fort - an interesting restaurant (especially the building and interior design). It is located in the historical part of Poznań, on Ostrów Tumski (the cradle of Polish independence). Good food, friendly and helpful staff. A place to recommend.

A very positive visit today at Food Fort/Poznań&Ostrów Tumski - super quiet, noticeable cleanliness, appealing aesthetics, unobtrusive care for the consumer. It's worth stopping by for a tasty snack; a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

The decor is very nice, the food is decent but nothing special, just everything is correct. One star less because in the children's dish, you cannot replace the salad with, for example, just tomatoes, and the children's dish is not listed on the menu, the same goes for iced coffee, which is available for purchase. Another star less because drinking water for people costs 8 PLN, while for the dog, it is served for free, and dogs are welcome in the restaurant. We only had lunch, so I don't know how dessert is; maybe we'll try it sometime.
