A visit to Firebird Peri Peri Chicken is a real treat for lovers of South African cuisine and bold flavors. The restaurant offers different levels of spiciness, and the heart of the menu is chicken in four versions, including juicy breast fillet, a set of five wings in various marinades, and delicious wraps. It is worth trying the Lime&Herb sauce, which adds freshness to the grilled meat. For vegetarians, I recommend grilled haloumi with sweet potato fries and young carrots. For dessert, the unforgettable Italian Affogato, which is espresso with vanilla ice cream – a unique ending to this culinary journey.
Portions are not proportional to the price. Expensive and not much, it makes an impression like it’s a wow, but it doesn’t. The meat is usually “homemade”. They lack a bit of spice.
The unique taste of the dishes is seasoned with attention to detail coherently combined into a whole, including music. An empty plate after a chicken wrap indicates that not only the main dish was excellent, but also the additions incorporated into the whole (sprouts and pickled vegetables). I recommend the place! :)
We ordered Peri with garlic peri pita sauce and winter tea. The food was very tasty, the portion was just right and the service was nice. My only comment concerns the temperature in the restaurant which was definitely too low, so we were sitting in coats. Apart from that, it was very nice, we will definitely come back :)
Very good food, all the marinades are a very positive surprise - something completely different for a palate accustomed to spicy Asian flavors. For someone moderately familiar with spicy dishes, nothing is excessively spicy, the spiciness emphasizes and does not obscure the exceptional taste, it is easily eaten without any problems.
I thought carefully about my opinion and I'm glad I didn't write it immediately after the visit because it wouldn't be reliable.nThe food is average, nothing spectacular. I ordered chicken kebabs, there were few of them and they were burnt from the bottom (of course, so that I wouldn't see it). The meat was rather dry without any clear taste, just plain chicken.nI also ate french fries with potatoes, which were too salty. As a woman, I won't say that I was full, a man would definitely not eat those portions. My husband ordered some wrap, it was tiny...nWinter tea with rosemary was supposed to be with honey, but I didn't get any honey.nI probably won't come back and I won't recommend it to others. It's a waste of time and money for average food, prices are rather high for the size of the portion.
Delicious food (you will also find vegetarian options!). Besides, the staff is very nice and competent, the location is great. I really recommend it! ❤️

All the marinades are excellent, the chicken juicy and grilled to perfection. To this, great additions: all the vegetables, fries, sauces - everything is juicy, with lots of taste, fresh. At the end of the lunch - very good coffee, delicious affogato.nThe interior is very nicely decorated.nA great place!
