Delicious food. I took my lunch to go, it was packed and secured so it didn't get cold, so I could enjoy a very hot curry and fresh, soft naan bread at home:) I got rice for free. It's clear that the people who run this restaurant really care, I highly recommend it!
I'm very sorry.nI was in the restaurant 3 times.nThe first two visits were totally amazing, the food was delicious and aromatic, tasty chai masala.nHowever, during the last visit I was totally surprised. Despite eating on site, everything was served in plastic or disposable dishes. Eating on plastic, with plastic cutlery totally spoiled my pleasure of eating in the restaurant. It seems to me unacceptable when paying a price comparable to good and crowded restaurants in Poznań.nIn addition, the food was much spicier than during previous visits.nFor this reason, I am very sad, because the owners are nice people, but for the time being I think I will not return to this place (for the 4th time).nThis is not the service I expect for such a price.
Everything served in plastic, tea, desserts, main courses... a drama, zero Indian cuisine atmosphere.. everything as if served on the street, and this is a normal stationary pub from which one expects at least standards in a normal place.
to go ordered to take away. the first and last time. the onion bhaji had a raw body inside, the chicken in the butter chicken was stale and just terrible, I didn't eat it. the sauce itself was okay. the naan bread was too rubbery inside, it was hard to chew, I also left it. in general, I really like Indian cuisine, but probably not in this restaurant - unfortunately.
Shahi baigan tasteless, cloves are added to the rice about which there is no information in the description of the dish
Portions like for children, no information about the size of the portion. 46zł for 6 pieces of chicken in a dish? Total exaggeration. The taste of butter chicken is just ok without any fuss, but the Shahi Raj soup is totally tasteless, but spicy as hell! You can only feel the pepper... It's the first and last time I ordered.
Negative reviews are left only by customers ordering for take-out. Make your own lunch and take it to someone. Large portions, tasty food, I recommend.
Order by Uber Eats.nThis is only my second encounter with the cuisine, so I don't have a comparison yet.nnI ordered for 2 people: Chicken Mango with Naan bread, Butter Chicken with basmati rice and one dessert portion of Rasgulla.nnThe lunch dishes are tasty, although they were basically the same thick sauces with a small amount of chicken. Really a small amount. I would expect more meat or additional vegetables in the price of the dishes.nnRasgulla... According to the description - balls of Indian cheese chhena in sweet syrup. And now imagine a small dumpling (parboiled dumpling) that instead of being steamed, cooked in sugar syrup. The effect? The balls were not poured with syrup, they were 'syrup' . Pity 10 zł for something like that, unless you like to eat syrup with a spoon.nnIn summary: the main dishes are tasty, small portions in relation to the price, the dessert may be in line with Indian tradition, but it's not worth attention.nnWill I order again or visit the place? I don't know. We'll see. Friends recommended eating there, so maybe....
Delicious chicken, fast delivery, large portions, the order arrived hot! Prices quite attractive. I recommend.
We ordered a meat platter for two, Balti chicken, Lamb Balti, two Indian coffees, a jug of water and Coconut Lasso. The meat platter is definitely even for 3. Very good and distinctive flavors as we expected.
