A nice pub with delicious food and top-notch service. The food is fresh and there is nothing to complain about. I must admit that it was my first visit there, we took vegetarian options so I don't know how the meat tastes there. But if it comes to vegetarian options, it's just perfect. If you feel like having a good vegetarian meal, I recommend it. The portions are large. Free water on the table is something that should be standard in many places, you don't get it here and here it is of course. The lady from the service advised us great, she was super relaxed and funny.nAs for the cons, I have to write that this table with those pillows is so-so comfortable. That cushion under my butt somewhere was moving to me every now and then. Only when I got the food did I forget about it a bit.nI will definitely go there again.
At last we arrived here. We managed to visit on Sunday and without a reservation and we got one of the last tables. After about 15 minutes the restaurant was already full. So I recommend to book a table in advance.nThe service was very nice and friendly, not shy from jokes.nVery nice interior and equally nice chatter of guests eating around the ordered dishes.nWe ordered:nWine, lemonade (lemon), there is also a flavored one, which should be asked the service. And mango lassi.nI did not catch the wine, but the lemonade was very tasty, not too sweet as well as mango lassi.nThen chicken soup, perfectly warm, delicate and spicy at the same time with a super note of lemon grass.nButter curry and lemon curry with shrimps.nIn addition there was a bowl of rice and a naan bread and a bowl of salad and pickled vegetables. Everything was delicious and we went home happy and satisfied.
Portions too small for a big guy, for an average woman it might be. Naan weak. In an Indian restaurant in Japan (they cooked Hindus) everything was better, but naan was extremely different.nIn butter curry you could feel mainly tomato paste. Thai peanut curry better, but I don't know if I would call them authentic Asian dish.nAtmosphere nice, nice place.
The food is probably the best of the whole. The rest is up for improvement.nThe lady behind the bar could at least pick up those dry flower leaves.nDishes served without cutlery and napkins.nPrices are moderate.
Fantastic curry can be found here at a really reasonable price. The other dishes are also worth trying. Nice atmosphere and music, very helpful service.
The food is delicious, the service is nice and they know how to advise. I am very pleased that they do not pour green tea with boiling water here and a big plus for free water. I will be happy to come back.
Delicious curry, with perfectly cut shrimp. Firm, crispy and with a balanced intensity of taste.nBao buns are much milder in taste, but if spicy curry can be compared to a quick bike ride, then their taste will be a soft sofa with a plush blanket. The chicken was also deliciously cooked.
5 years ago I gave this restaurant 5 stars, but I have to change it to 3. The portion size is ok, but unfortunately the taste is very average. The sauce is very watery and not very intense, it doesn't at all resemble Asian cuisine.
Hmmmm.... We are not from Poznań so we were guided by opinions on Google and... to be honest I don't know what to think:( Either we hit a really bad day of the chef/s or the top opinions were given by people who never been in a Indian restaurant before.nnThe first 'warning light' turned on when I saw the menu. A restaurant that thinks it makes good dishes at the same time from Thai, Indian, wok noodles and... burger? Well, we stayed.nnThe simplest dish that is the best way to recognize if they have good Indian cuisine is Buttery chicken and my older daughter chose this dish. And.... soooooo bad. Dry chicken, clearly made earlier/separately on a pan and then thrown into the 'butter type' sauce so it is dry and it didn't have time to taste the sauce at all. There is a quotation mark in the sauce specification because my wife makes a better one at home and the best restaurants I've eaten in are not even close. It tasted like a gesta, sour tomato soup.nnMy wife ordered an indian bowl. It was ok... and yo everything. As a whole it was okay, a big portion but again the chicken in panko dried to crumbs.nnMy younger daughter took a burger with pulled pork and it was a hit. The bun was nice, soft, the pork juicy, the sauces well chosen, the potato wedges crispy, the salad tasty and the portion really big.nnI knowing my daughters who 'eat with their eyes' and refuse to order them children's portions, I knew I would finish after both I ordered myself only a soup TOM YUM with chicken. The soup was good, a little bit too little but here I have no comments.nnAnd then mango lassi.... Tragedy. I love mango lassi, I often make it at home, I also often stop by a food truck near my house just for that, and I'll say that it was a mess. The mango taste was very little and it seems that they added chopped herbs (which I think even more spoiled the taste and they should warn in the menu that mango lassi is not 'pure') to hide the taste or rather its lack.nnIn summary - go somewhere else for Indian food. The atmosphere/decor is nice, the service is nice (and that's why 3* and not lower) but this is not the address for this type of food. Burger with pork SUPER and that's it...
The food is very tasty, but the portion is definitely too small for me. I barely ate and the prices are slightly too high. The hottest dish is not as hot as I thought.nAnd unfortunately, but the naan bread was very soft not like in other restaurants.nOn the plus side, the service. The lady was very nice and helpful, I have no complaints about that. Improve the bread a bit and the size of the portion. Then it will be ok :)
