Encouraged by the reviews, we bought a poppy seed cake for the holidays. I am disappointed and angry. The poppy seed cake has holes, the poppy separates from the dough and in no way could it be served on the table for guests. I thought that a bakery with such a reputation would not do such a bad thing to me for the holidays. Money thrown down the drain, as what I bought looked like a store-bought cake. I will be warning everyone against shopping at Sowa.
The cream puffs with vanilla cream are old. I bought them just before closing. I have eaten them many times in other Cukiernia Sowa locations, but yesterday's pastry was unlike anything I've experienced before. I won't be coming back.
The ordered poppy seed cake for the holidays was very poorly made. Dry and inedible. A big negative surprise.
EDIT: When will you provide an explanation?nI love Sowa's pastries; I have a comparison and unfortunately, the bakery on Polna Street sold stale, even old donuts (this is noticeable in the photo, dense dry center, rancid bottom) at a regular price.nA huge minus for dishonesty towards the customer; ultimately, it is the bakery that loses out.
I have never eaten such a terrible blueberry bun. Almost no fruit, rather yesterday's.
The staff is very nice :) everything is delicious as always.
Standardly good cakes. Coffee gets 4 stars. A few tables inside. Friendly service.
The staff is friendly, but a big minus for those ordering for the holidays. I ordered a poppy seed cake for pickup on December 24 - unfortunately, the cake was already one or two days old, the poppy filling dry with little honey, etc. A few years ago in St. Browar it was delicious from this company - unfortunately this year a big minus for me.
Quick and very pleasant, professional service for years. I recommend it to everyone.
A long time ago during a visit. The croissants at 90 PLN/kg are a bit excessive; in other places, the price is 60-65 PLN/kg. Moreover, they had so much spirit in them that they were unappetizing. Guests weren't keen on them. Cakes at 65 PLN/kg. I think that's quite expensive, maybe because it's Jeżyce.
