The rude service from the manager was unacceptable. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, she stated that she had settled the cash and refused to take cash from us, sending us away with nothing, including two children who wanted ice cream. After leaving the establishment, an unfriendly lady followed us out and continued to lecture us about the rules. I had warned her that I had cash, and that’s why she decided to stop serving us. I could have waited until everything was prepared and then told her that I was going to pay in cash. Since that incident, I no longer buy from Sowa. The manager needs to be replaced.
The food is very tasty, the service is friendly and clear, and the place is conducive to learning with portions that are adequate for the price. I absolutely recommend it!
A very interesting café with pleasant service and super girls. I visit it often because it’s very nice.
If you like the products from Cukiernia Sowa, you will find everything you need there. The service is very nice and quickly serves customers. I particularly recommend the Dakłas tort (with cherries) and the mango-passion fruit or vanilla profiteroles, and the cherry tartlets.
Very nice service and a great place I recommend it!
A few months ago, I would have easily given it 5 stars. As for the service, I have nothing to complain about. The ladies are always friendly, the service is efficient, everything is brought 'to your nose', and the bakery is clean. The serving staff promptly clears the dishes from vacant tables. Regarding the company's policy... well, the cakes are tasty. But the portion pricing is completely incomprehensible to me. For a take-away piece of Dakłas based on weight, I paid 9 PLN whereas for the one on-site, which was even a bit smaller, I think I paid around 5 PLN more... I understand that there are costs to my staying, but seriously... For a portion of cake with currants, I also paid quite a lot, and the portion was so small that it was a shock. I even sent a picture to my mom because I couldn’t believe that I paid around 10 PLN for it... It’s a bit of a pity because I understand inflation, but the prices are heavily inflated. Whereas I used to visit every week with my son, now I only go when there’s an occasion :)
I recommend the pralines, perfect for a gift and very tasty. The quality of the cakes is good, but they don't completely wow you. The service is very nice. The prices are moderate.
Today I bought Rogale, the pastry is delicate, with filling from white poppy, not too sweet. Very tasty. I recommend.
The orange espresso for 28 PLN to-go is a bit outrageous! The Bydgoszcz rogale are weak. I do not recommend.
Delicious cheesecake. Cukiernia Sowa doesn’t need to be praised; it speaks for itself with its baked goods. Therefore, I will only comment on the service: one word, perfection. I was there with my brother just before the bakery closed on Sunday, fearing a nervous response from the staff. Everyone wants to go home and not wait for latecomers. What did we find? A nice, reasonable, and cheerful service with a smile. Only congratulations on such an approach to customers.
