Nice restaurant at the Old Market. The food was good, but not hot. Waiting time was okay. Prices are reasonable for the city center.
Without looking at reviews beforehand, we sat down in this restaurant and ordered dishes with drinks. Unfortunately, the wait for our drinks was very long, which irritated me, and I wanted to leave, but the lady said our order was ready, so we stayed to give the place a chance. However, something still didn't feel right. The food was good, but I had a grilled chicken breast and felt that the two thin slices were for kids because I didn't really feel full. It seems the boss is very stingy with the staff because the delays in the entire order were due to a lack of people—just two waitresses for the crowd, responsible for everything, including serving and cleaning, and one cook who had to handle the whole list of customers. Honestly, the food was quite good, but I don't know if I would go back to a restaurant where the manager is so stingy that employees can't manage the customers, and the customers take out their frustration on them due to the waiting. I advise against this place just because the waiting is exhausting.
Beautiful historic tenement on the Old Market in Poznań. However, the rest is lacking. The Aperol spritz was made with some cheap substitute that doesn't resemble the original in flavor. At first sip, it tastes like plain water, and after a few seconds, there's an unpleasant bitterness. As a fan of this drink, I was honestly disappointed. The wheat beer was flat, lacking freshness and hints of the brewery. Almost 20 PLN for such beer is definitely an overcharge. The only tasty item was the drink with raspberries that, due to real raspberries and not some juice, made me unable to give less than 2 stars. Overall, a very nice venue, but it seems to be focused on quickly generating money by serving bland experiences aimed at somewhat lost tourists rather than foodies. I do not recommend.
12/21/2024. Undercooked potatoes, rotten lettuce, hard carrots, dry chicken breast with smoked cheese slices similar to those from 'Biedronka.' We came here for the first time without looking at the reviews. We were disappointed. I checked the reviews when I got a strangely sour beer from TYSKIE, my favorite, as I've been drinking it for many years, but the taste of this beer in this place was terrible. I rarely post reviews, but I had to for the good of future customers. The lady serving us seemed to work there as a punishment. The only plus was a good drink... I didn't want to argue; I just ate what I could, as I dislike wasting food, the bill was paid, and I will not come back... I’ll go for corn dogs at the market; they might be more expensive but will be tastier and fill me up.
A beautifully decorated place, the drinks are really good, a minus is paying when you leave since it's easy to forget, but otherwise, it's great!
I was there on November 11th. It was a holiday with a huge crowd. I don't know who manages this place, but I feel sorry for the employees who simply were not enough to serve that number of people. I wanted to drink coffee, and when I asked about a latte or cappuccino around 3 PM, I was told by a man, possibly the 'floor manager,' that they no longer make coffee, especially not fancy ones, as there are too many people, and they don't have time for that. I was a bit surprised. But okay, let it be. I ordered regular winter tea... Price 20 PLN. I had to remind them about the tea, after which I got on a tray a teapot with water, a tea bag, 2 lemon slices, and a glass of honey with juice. It’s self-service... People were leaving annoyed, hearing that the waiting time for orders was about an hour... I'm giving one star only for the staff's attempts to control the situation, but there were simply too few of them.
We went out with friends for mulled wine, which was okay in taste, and... the portion of chips for 12 PLN. Generally, I do not recommend this place.
Nice atmosphere, interesting interior. I recommend it for an evening chill-out.
Very atmospheric place. This is how a pub should look. Coffee is good, mulled wine is good, warm apple pie is also good. The service is very nice and polite.
Interesting decor. We were greeted by a smiling waiter, which is a big plus. Despite our indecision, the recommended dishes were a hit. The waiting time was short, so we quickly filled our empty stomachs The food was very good, indicating that the right person is in the kitchen. We will definitely return.
