A pleasant, intimate club with good sound and drinks nThere was quite a crowd after the concert, and the air circulation could be better; it felt a bit stuffy. Overall, I recommend it; I had a great time at Ari Abdul's concert
There was a 30-minute delay during a one-hour concert by Błota.nnThere was zero communication from the club and the organizer about such a significant delay (the final reason was 'because there's still a queue as people are late'), showing a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the people who showed up on time.
The atmosphere could easily be rated 5 stars for the excellent live music, but the desire to maximize profits - cramming in extra tables where movement is impossible - significantly reduces the quality. I wonder what the fire department would think about it. Evacuation would definitely be complicated.nnService? You have to remind them that you are in line because they choose whom to serve at will and ignore the rest.nnI don't rate the food because there's nothing to evaluate.nnBut you go there mainly for the music, and the concerts could be a musical feast if not for the acoustics and the constant need to shift because someone wants to get through, and they can't because the tables are too tightly packed (as mentioned above). Tickets are rather expensive (which returns us to the quick profit maximization at the expense of long-term strategy, quality, and the evident customer satisfaction reflected in the star ratings).
A jazz club just after renovation. Nice atmosphere. The club is situated in a castle. I attended a concert of the Japanese trumpeter Takuya Kuroda. Judging by the guests' reactions, it was a great success. I deduct one star for being moved from our reserved table; it turned out that our table had a sign saying 'Reservation', and we were relocated from right by the stage to the wall. On the plus side, we sat right by the bar on comfortable seating, but the downside was that someone continually blocked our view. The ticket price with a table was high, so this was very unfair. You just don't treat guests like that. But I recommend the club, especially for jazz lovers.
A nice intimate music club; I enjoyed the atmosphere at the concert, and since I'm not a fan of drinking alcohol while standing during the performance, I was hoping to calmly enjoy a drink and chat with friends in a quieter atmosphere after the show. I was greatly disappointed when the bartender told me that the bar closes at the end of the last song (Friday, 10 PM) and I couldn't order anything more.nThe ladies in the cloakroom deserve praise for their swift service.
BlueBeats - a much-needed and promising new series of events with electronic music. The first act was London Elektricity - a legend of Hospital Records and the Drum & Bass scene. And everything would have been nice if not for the sound system, which leaves much to be desired. Drum & Bass is not just the soft music to accompany a meal; it should hit you with its size, bass, and groove. Every DnB fan knows this. At the event, unfortunately, only the weakness of the sound system hit you hard. It was too quiet, lacking in depth, and the productions sounded uneven. One has to give it a chance and hope for improvement during future events in this series. For now, as a club with the first edition of BlueBeats, I rate it a strong 3+ and hope for progress in the second round.
Great atmosphere, a club with beautiful stage lighting. I recommend intimate concerts here.
A unique place on the map of Poznań. I think it doesn't need advertising. I especially recommend it to those who love live music in a unique intimate setting. I love this place for its atmosphere and exceptional musicians.
The club is set up in the former boiler room of the imperial castle. Coming there for the first time can make you feel a bit confused. The entrance corridor is complicated, narrow, and not suited for such capacity. But once inside, it’s alright. Blue Note is known for its musical activity. It has a well-soundproofed hall, which, however, again, is not designed for such a large number of guests. Moving between tables is heavily hindered. I hope there will never be a fire there. I had an 'Americano' coffee for 16 PLN. It’s not too bad. However, I have the impression that it differs from the espresso for 12 PLN only in that instead of a mini cup, it’s served in a small cup. The bartender was shockingly uncommunicative. After taking my order, he mumbled something, typed something on the computer, asked me to hold my card, and disappeared without a word for 5 minutes. He brought the coffee from the back. He forgot to give me a receipt. The visible 'half coffee' is what I got.
Beautifully transformed place that with its atmosphere and interior perfectly refers to times over 20 years ago.
