Overall, the place is nice, but it could be better. I expected better food primarily. The meat was okay, but the sides were a disaster. The tomato soup was from concentrate and a stock cube, with a huge amount of sugar. The carrots with peas were also overly sweet, as were the beets. The chef definitely has a sugar problem. If it weren't for that, the rating would be higher. The ladies behind the counter also won't win you over. It seemed like they were there under duress...
Really homey, delicious food. Perfect prices and large portions. You don't find places like this anymore, so it's worth a visit.
I visited the bar on Sunday, wanting something that would revive me after a tough weekend. The menu is quite large, so there's definitely something for everyone. The prices are a big plus. For the daily special with a free soup, you only have to pay 18 PLN, which is a really good deal these days. As for the taste - it's okay. Nothing special, the soup was a bit bland, and the schnitzel tasted like it was cooked in old oil. However, at such a price, you shouldn't expect too much. The portions are large.
I rate the place at 2.5 stars. We took two takeaway sets. The tomato soup was extremely watery, you could say it was water from concentrate. The chicken breast cutlet was tasteless. One of the salads tasted spoiled. Only the potatoes were tasty. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it. Nearby this establishment, you will find at least one bar mleczny where it's really worth eating. The prices are okay, but for such quality, they should be much lower.
Delicious and cheap! One of the best milk bars I've been to :)
Food at good prices, portions okay, and taste is also pretty good.
The food is tasty, homemade. No frills. Quite decent for a bar! Though, sometimes the potatoes seem to be reheated in a microwave, as they have a strange taste, or the meat is too salty. They always have a daily special at a lower price. They provide tomato soup for free with each set.
I have a fondness for such places, but what held me back from visiting here were the negative reviews. However, today the need to eat 'home cooked' dinner was stronger . I ordered a chicken schnitzel with fries and sautéed cabbage + an orange drink. Everything was done in less than 10 minutes, which is a plus considering the lunch hour. The meat and fries were warm. Overall, the taste was good; however, I can't give 5 stars because the portions are relatively small for the prices (24 PLN for the whole), especially with regards to the sautéed cabbage.
Unfortunately, until yesterday, 18.08 everything was great. Both the wonderful service and food... Since yesterday, a different shift (we're talking about Sunday after 1 PM) has had staff from another nationality focused more on serving their compatriots and chatting with them than on serving customers. I waited 25 minutes for a vegetarian dish and got the wrong dumplings! The salad was slightly... I pointed it out to the staff, to which the lady stated that they were valid until 21.08. Well okay. However, at a temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, not everything will always be fresh... We'll see in a week if 'something' will improve and if it returns to a decent quality.
At first, I wasn't sure about this place after seeing customer reviews, but after having lunch, I was very surprised. Starting with the service from Ms. Magda, who was very nice, and ending with a very good schnitzel with an egg and Hungarian-style pancake. The tomato soup was also delicious, but the pasta was a bit strange. We will definitely be returning there! PS: Air conditioning would be a plus
