I chose this place based on the 'recommendation' of a breakfast spot ranking in Poznań. Often these opinions are exaggerated... but at Bajzel, 5 stars is definitely too few! An unassuming little restaurant from the outside, which encourages with its extraordinary atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Fantastic service! The ladies are incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly. I especially appreciated their form of greeting - 'hey' instead of 'good morning'. You can feel the lack of distance, the laid-back vibe. The waitress was very helpful in choosing from the menu. The dishes are delicious! A large amount of spices, herbs, and vegetables, which is not common in many places with breakfast offers. Everything is fresh, fragrant, and appetizing. You just want to come back! Ps. Bajzel is the perfect example of a place where the atmosphere and quality attract customers more than the location!
I was at Bajzel today for breakfast. We ordered two dishes, Dutch waffles and Bajzel supreme. The dishes looked very nice, but the taste was underwhelming. We ordered coffee and tea with breakfast, but unfortunately the waiting time for our meals meant our drinks were cold. The worst part of the experience was the dog belonging to the staff, who jumped at our table and looked into our plates... unfortunately, it took away all the enjoyment from our time at the restaurant.
Very tasty breakfast, delicious coffee, great cocoa.
A restaurant with potential, beautifully decorated, the decor is impressive. However, the service was less so; the lady's behavior made it seem like she got out of bed on the wrong side, as if she came to work as a punishment. And the categorization of customers based on their appearance was unfortunate; it's a pity that it wasn't based on the depth of their wallets. Because one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The food was served quickly, beautifully arranged, the appearance tempts with a 5. But the taste only deserves a 4, not what I expected. Nevertheless, the cocoa was superb, like from my childhood, no chemistry involved. I recommend this place because I might be mistaken; after all, everyone has their own preferences and tastes.
Re-ve-la-tion! Service, food, and atmosphere are top-notch! Although, I recommend reserving a table in advance ;) especially on Saturdays. We managed without a reservation, but some people weren't so lucky. 10 out of 10; I recommend it!
Extremely nice service and a cozy interior. Although we came to try the classic Basque cheesecake, we were tempted by the version with matcha – it was creamy, perfectly balanced. The cocoa we ordered to drink nicely complemented the dessert. This place is full of atmosphere and delicious flavors. I definitely recommend it to everyone!
Super place! Very good breakfasts, large portions, tasty coffee, and friendly, smiling service. A place worth recommending!
It seems the prices match what we find on our plates. The portions are large, filling, and above all, delicious :) The flavor combinations of both breakfasts we tried were amazing. All possible flavors intertwined beautifully, making our breakfasts not just ordinary, but a delightful start to the day :) Just the sight of these colorful compositions pleasantly surprised us; a big plus for the amount of salad The girls from the service were very nice :) We'll definitely come back :)
The service was fantastic . However, the sandwich... disappointed me a bit. I expected something different from 'Pulled pork', but I received something resembling a paste. Not my taste, unfortunately. Nicely presented but not the right flavor. The coffee and service were fantastic though! And the ambiance of the place is lovely :). Maybe next time I will try the salmon, and it will be better. Fingers crossed
I was disappointed. The food was tasty, but not outstanding for the prices. It was overly complicated, and in Poznań, we can find much better breakfast spots. I waited a long time for service. On the plus side, the coffee is good, and the food presentation is attractive - colorful, and the location is close to the center but in a quiet area.
