A very atmospheric venue with exceptional food. The fondant is the best dessert I've had in years. The ribs are tender and crunchy, and the dumplings are top-notch. I recommend it for any occasion, both business and romantic.
We ended up at the 'U Myśliwych' restaurant for Restaurant Week. It's a cozy place located in the cellars of the 'Hunting House'. The room is quite dark, but very inviting. There are plenty of wooden accents and thematic decorations. The service was nice, and we didn't have to wait long for the dishes. The food was really tasty. The game pâté with delicious cranberry was beautifully presented. The venison dumplings in creamy mushroom sauce were perfect; when cut, they released broth. The only dish that didn't impress was the cheesecake - it would have been much better without artificial whipped cream. However, unlike the appetizer and the main course, the dessert was not from the regular menu. We are glad to have discovered another interesting place on the map of Poznań and we will definitely return to try other dishes, and also visit the game delicatessen! :)
Revolutionary game dishes. Very good flavors and portions. Good service and a great atmosphere. The seasoned hare was excellent, and the wild boar dishes were exquisite. Highly recommended.
The room is quite dark. On the downside, the tablecloth was dirty with a hole in it. The service was acceptable. The hunting soup had plenty of meat, well-seasoned. The wild boar loin in sauce was very good. The wild boar ribs were amazing and delicious. The lamb steak was also very good. The pâté on cranberry bread was acceptable. The beef and pork chinlaki was delicious.nnFor me, the food was adequate for the price. However, the venue needs a bit of refreshing.
The restaurant 'U Myśliwych' confirms its name through its decor, climate, and especially the content of the menu. The dishes delight many senses. They are beautifully presented, smell fantastic, and taste brilliant. I particularly highlight the venison and roe deer steaks served on a hot stone, allowing guests to achieve their preferred level of meat doneness.nAnother plus is the wide selection of wines and spirits. The wine from Peru deserves attention. I think I had the chance to try wine from this country for the first time, and it was truly excellent.nThe wait staff was flawless, professional, polite, and helpful. There were no issues with swapping sides for dishes.nWe spent a very pleasant evening at 'U Myśliwych'. We will probably return because the menu has many more attractive items.nThe only comment: the menu outside needs to be updated with prices.
I have mixed opinions: n- the interior is as expected from a place serving gamenn- I definitely advise against the duck; it was tough and rubberynn- the tartare was very good; I will certainly returnnn- the hare was good although the presentation was a bit strangenn- the broth was standard, like everywhere elsenn- the wild game soup was rather weak, with little meat; the taste was acceptable.nnAdditionally, there was a strange situation where the food was served on a hot stone along with salad, which caused everything to burn and created a terrible smell throughout the venue.nnIn summary, when spending almost 500 PLN on food, you shouldn't have too many objections; maybe I will return someday for the tartare, which is delicious.nnAs for the waiters, they all behaved as if they were working there for the first day. For about 1.5 hours, the only sound you hear is cutlery dropping on the floor; the lady didn’t know what type of beer port was; no one greeted us or asked if it tasted good or joked.
We visited during the Restaurant Week festival. All the dishes, even those ordered additionally, were very tasty. I highly recommend the hunting soup, which had more meat than liquid and the sarny pâté; the portions are very large, so you can comfortably come with a few people and share. The restaurant's decor is of a high standard, and it is very pleasant to spend time there. The service was nice and smiling.
Delicious food, friendly service. The only downside was that there was a party in the next room, and staff started cleaning right after guests left. Yes, I was sitting in a separate room, but the vacuuming could be heard everywhere. Besides that, the restaurant is located in the house of the Polish hunting association, and it looks nice and peaceful inside. The staff is very kind and helpful. I ordered brine and venison steak, and it was delicious. I will definitely return for some Ukrainian dish.
A place with potential, but unfortunately, time seems to have stopped here. Damaged lighting (LEDs falling out of the wall), damaged sugar bowls, dirty and old table lamps, and dry, bordering on wilted flowers. The decor has very little connection to hunting, yet it creates an atmosphere. The flying flies and toilets straight out of Silent Hill disgusted us the most, which costs a star. The Ukrainian staff exhibited zero engagement. The waiters/waitresses were overwhelmed by polite phrases like: 'Is everything alright?' 'Do you like it?' Under this aspect, there is a drama. This place stands only thanks to the game dishes. The ordered venison steaks were very good, and it was a great idea to serve them on a stone. The salad and potatoes were very good, but the sauces were a failure, as they were rather the cheapest store-bought products. Unfortunately, my partner had a very dull knife (which is quite crucial for a dish like steak), but due to the wait staff’s zero interest, I had to manage somehow. The desserts were average, nothing extraordinary or jaw-dropping. In summary, it was nice to try the game, but we probably won't miss this place.
