Am Am Canteen

I've been coming here with my colleagues from work for 3 years, but today I reached my limit; the portion I received was a joke (two wings). Everyone knows how much meat is on a wing. It's time to start going somewhere where you can actually fill up. I should add that the dish cost 29 PLN.

The dish was simply old and unfit for consumption. No complaints about the size or quality of ingredients. I give it 2/5 because I've had tasty breakfasts there, but today's meal doesn't deserve such a high rating. For those who are hungry, I recommend the hot dog from the nearby Żabka.

Unfortunately, I can see a decline at Canteen, and it's getting worse. Depending on the week, you might hit it lucky or not, but lately, it's been going downhill. Thankfully, Brzask bistro will open next door.nnI have the impression that the person crafting the menu thinks office workers need some overly complicated dishes, which is why they come up with unnecessary additions like kale chips.nnThe selection is unfortunately considerably worse compared to 2019. They lack pierogi and baked dishes as staple items.nnThe menu has become overcomplicated - it's clear that the person who creates it doesn’t have the skill to prepare such dishes and experiments too much. If you can't make ramen, just don't attempt it. And the price for live cooking - 52 PLN for a questionable quality dish that you have to collect yourself. Often, a ready-made dish from Żabka tastes much better.nnFor example, instead of making a traditional lasagna, which has been quite good, they prepare an awful spinach and salmon lasagna. The soup portions are definitely too small - around 12 PLN for a cup of soup. I strongly advise against buying any form of risotto and kaszotto - these are tasteless dishes, especially the beetroot kaszotto. It’s clear that there has been a change in service because the kaszotto used to be quite tasty.nnThe most disgusting are the veggie dishes - they're often cold or barely warm, making it hard to eat a good meatless dish. If you want to eat Russian dumplings, which supposedly aren't a meat dish, unfortunately, you have no choice because they sprinkle them with a lot of bacon. Once, veggie dishes were served as soon as ordered, but now you have to wait quite a while for someone to bring them because vegetarian meals are not prepared on the spot. Additionally, they do not offer substitute additions in veggie meals, you have to ask about that every time as if you couldn’t order them like the rest of the dishes where they're first plated.nnThe worst point is the ready salads - always just beets and Swedish salad, as if there were no other fresh vegetables in the summer. How can you serve a mix of steamed vegetables without any spices or additions? Such vegetables have no flavor at all.nnFortunately, competition is arising, so maybe they will get their act together.nnOn the plus side, breakfasts and desserts are definitely much tastier than the lunches.

Delicious bruschetta and heavenly cheesecake

The price of the meal for a self-service bar is very high. I paid 52.00 PLN for tagliatelle with salmon and broccoli. Additionally, carbonated water made the total bill 65.00 PLN. For that amount, you could eat the same type of meal in a restaurant with waiter service and elegant decor.

An amazing place! Excellent service and every week something surprising on the menu!!! I honestly admit that I come to the office because I can have a great breakfast and lunch at AM AM.

The food is bland and poorly seasoned... the final straw is the lady with dreadlocks who digs in her nose and then serves food... bon appétit.

The lunches are either tasteless or stale - and most often both at the same time. Regular prices are definitely too high compared to the quality of lunches. There hasn’t been a dish of the day that I've eaten with pleasure. The 'safe option' is the pizza, which is rather edible. Every time I think, 'Today it will be different, and maybe it will be good,' I leave disappointed.

A big plus for the decor, quite modern, as well as outdoor seating, and the location adjacent to office buildings (full of potential clients). The service is generally neutral. During peak hours, they usually manage to handle the heavy flow.

Mega expensive, a dish for almost 40 PLN... the pizza is one of the worst I've ever had, the crust burnt as if someone was making it for the first time in their life.

Small selection of dishes. The staff seems like they are working there as a punishment and the cashier is overwhelmed by counting cash while unleashing her frustration on customers.
