We arrived at the restaurant encouraged by the reviews and we were not disappointed. The venue is very pleasant. We ordered the famous duck that won the best duck contest, and the taste was amazing, the meat well-prepared, the original taste of red cabbage, everything worked well together. For dessert, we were recommended the 'Intensely chocolate' which was a poetic explosion of flavors. The staff was very nice, especially Julia. Highly recommend!
The evening was wonderful, as this place is charming, the dishes tasty, and served in a very attractive manner. The cake to complement the meal was fantastic! Highly recommend.
I started with the reservation, made five days earlier for six people. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found that the table was for four, and the lady said it couldn't be extended, so we decided to move it away from the wall to create some elbow room. The waitress then struggled with the table since it couldn't be adjusted to sit level. After placing the order, the waitress realized we were too crowded as four of us ordered grilled dishes. Suddenly, another table appeared. We waited over an hour for our order but that’s normal in a good restaurant as it was full. Prices seem low at first but once you order additional sides with the beef fillet, it costs about 160 PLN for 200g of meat with sides, where in many good restaurants you can eat better and cheaper. The fries were okay, but the salad was like the chef took a few different types of lettuce left over, I had only two rotting spinach leaves, completely unripe orange tomatoes, some tasteless cucumber slices – a total mix with no flavor. I set those leaves aside and halfway through the meal the waitress asked if everything was good. I replied that the leaves were rotten and she offered to replace the salad. Everything is fine, but why would I want another tasteless salad? Such a situation shouldn't happen at all. The BBQ sauce served with the beef tasted like it had been in the container for a long time, absorbing fridge flavors, inedible. Overall the service did what it could... but, they could do little. We probably won't return.
I went to this restaurant since it received awards for its porcini soup and duck. To start, there was an unpleasant waiter with unattractive tattoos on his hands, arms, and neck, whose tone was simply unpleasant and arrogant, both to his colleagues and to me. I felt like I was in school; I asked to change my table and was told to sit where he put me, and that was final, even though the restaurant was only 20% full and I had a reservation. Regarding the specifics, the certified soup surprised me with an unexpected addition of a cooked larva (I don’t know how many there were, but our whole table stopped tasting it). I have a strong aversion to such things and cannot imagine serving unchecked wormy mushrooms to my guests. The manager stated that this happens and that fungi sometimes have worms, which blew my mind. Fortunately, after the intervention of the lovely waitress, Wiktoria, we received compensation in the form of desserts, which was very nice and slightly improved the atmosphere after this blunder. The duck was acceptable, the cinnamon cabbage surprised me, it didn’t suit everyone, but I liked it, the dumplings were okay... but the dessert was a 10/10, and I highly recommend it.
The on-site dining was excellent. Interesting compositions, good ingredients, well-prepared dishes, nicely presented. The duck that the restaurant boasts about truly deserves praise. I wouldn't consider it the best in the area, but that’s a subjective opinion. The waiting time for the selections was acceptable at low traffic. Prices were quite high for the portion size. However, delivery significantly lowered the opinion. The order arrived late after a long wait (about 1.5 hours). Fortunately, the food was warm, but unfortunately, the portion of soup priced at 29 PLN is a ridiculous joke. Overall, I recommend the restaurant on-site, especially for specific dishes like duck. Delivery not so much.
This was not a randomly chosen restaurant. I had been searching for a Wielkopolska duck with apples so I wouldn’t regret it, and we didn’t. It was excellently prepared! (though the picture doesn’t capture the mood and taste). The vegan stuffed cabbage with black lentils reflected the character and bliss in the mouth. The flavors and the crunch of the sides, excellent puree, everything played high! The liver on toast appetizer was quite good (though I was disappointed by the lack of flambé upon serving, supposedly this happened in the kitchen ). In the porcini soup, there were enough mushrooms, but a little extra flavor wouldn’t hurt. But that’s just being picky .nThe tastes are worth experiencing in Poznań... and the atmosphere of the European Kayaking Marathon Championships happening at that time is unforgettable. Thank you!
The beef burger with fries, despite the large portion, was quite average. Too much sauce, the meat was underwhelming, dry, and the bacon had very hard bits that were inedible. Additionally, there was a hair in the porcini soup.
Today we visited Restaurant 3 Kolory Malta and we are impressed! The beef fillet on a hot lava stone was not only delicious, but also served in a way that made the whole meal a unique experience. The meat was perfectly prepared, and the ability to finish cooking it on the hot stone added an unforgettable charm to the entire experience. The service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing. We definitely recommend this place to all food lovers!
We came to your restaurant with 8 people. The decor was very nice, and the location was wonderful. Sandra took excellent care of us from the start, remembering who ordered what, what was to be shared, and who was drinking what; and she helped arrange a surprise. We have never encountered such a kind, organized, and efficient waitress as Sandra. We are very thankful to her for making our Sunday so pleasant. Besides Sandra, the kitchen deserves top marks, the incredibly delicious duck, dumplings, cabbage, sauce, everything was perfect! The traditional cheese spread appetizer with a hint of smoking, a modern presentation, was also something wonderful on the plate and in the mouth. The only slight downside with the liver, it seemed slightly overcooked, and the bread served with it could have been of better quality, but these are truly minor faults that are insignificant given the other fantastic experiences. We recommend this place to everyone!
We have been to the restaurant once and last, the service was terrible, zero interest in the customer, after finishing the meal, we had to approach the cash register ourselves to settle the bill where a servicer fee of 37 PLN was added. We ate half a duck depicted in the photo - costing 88 PLN.
