Unfortunately, I feel compelled to write a review of this restaurant, although I don't have a good opinion about my experience. The service was very slow, it's clear that the guy at the cash register is new and can't cope with his duties – he definitely shouldn't be there alone. The food was the worst I've ever eaten, and I don't want to be mean, but I'm being honest. There was a lack of spices, and the meals were served cold, which made it difficult for me to swallow them. I've never had such difficulty eating like here. The burrito was almost untouched, and after reporting the lack of taste to the staff, I was left without any comment. If you really want to offer a 'Mexican atmosphere', it's worth hiring a chef who knows what they're doing, rather than serving food 'on the go'. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.
The pork tacos were quite tasty, but the veggie burrito had a very weak taste and was not seasoned enough.nThere are quite a few sauces, but buying more is relatively expensive, for a Mexican restaurant.nMost of the time, there is no one at the bar, the staff disappears in the back and it is not known when they will appear, and pop-country music is playing (?) in the dining area.
A great place, excellent cuisine, friendly service, music playing pleasantly in the background, without unnecessary noise and swaying to hear the interlocutor. I highly recommend, we will definitely come back!!! It was amazing :D This is evidenced by the constant ordering of additional items, nachos, burritos, tacos, churros, stew, winter tea, and finally, white Żywiec
The food was so delicious that I thought I would propose to the chef! Unfortunately, it turned out that she was a woman... churros are absolutely the best in the city! Sosik could only be made of real chocolate
I ordered tacos with beef and coleslaw. The dish caused mixed feelings in me. The cake was average in taste (hard to determine if it was wheat or corn). It was not very crispy.nThe meat with the other ingredients was tasty.nWe are given two sauces to choose from. Usually they give 'something' to the dish, and here.. it's hard to say.. average and 'just right' - barely enough for the dish - as if the owner was saving on the quantity. All 36zł, so the price is good for a restaurant.nThe coleslaw is the biggest disappointment. For 7zł we get (bang) 50g of coleslaw ?! It's a joke.. Moreover, the coleslaw has no taste..nThe service is the biggest disappointment after the coleslaw. When I entered the empty place around 16th I had to go to the table and place the order. The waiter/bartender (?) was hiding in the kitchen all the time.. as if he was making the meal? I don't understand..nThe decor is the biggest plus of the place. Numerous artifacts related to Mexican culture, painted walls, or music give the restaurant a very good atmosphere. Even the bathroom is thematic..nIn summary, tacos are tasty with a small amount of average (for Mexican cuisine) sauces at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the coleslaw and service spoiled the atmosphere, and it's a shame because I ate well. I won't come back here, among other things, because the competition does everything a little better. I don't recommend it.nP.S. The place looks like the owner is saving, which is evidenced by: average service and small portions of sauces/coleslaw. And it's a shame because the place has potential.
Delicious food in large portions. You can get interesting dishes, such as a cheese burrito. Unfortunately, on Friday evening, only one person was working in the whole place, which made taking orders and serving them time-consuming and chaotic.
Together with my boyfriend, we decided to try the new cuisine. The decor in the restaurant is very nice and atmospheric. The waiting time was supposed to be 20 minutes (we were served by a young lady from Ukraine). We waited 1.5 hours for our food and everyone who ordered after us got it faster. As it turned out, the lady was completely overwhelmed with what was happening, and the mess she made was fixed by the waiter who came later. In general, the food itself was poorly seasoned and not very expressive. If it were not for that gentleman, I would give one star, thank you for at least saving our lunch
Opinion about the order with delivery. Chicken burrito. The order was not in line with the description in the menu. Instead of red rice, poor quality white rice. I did not notice bean, parsley and onion pastes. Only white rice, a little chicken and cilantro. Everything was tragically packed. The sauces arrived open, so everything mixed in the package. Besides, cold, but the burrito was not packed in anything, just thrown into the box with sauces. Weak.
The food is very good, but only slightly seasoned, large portions of meat, but expensive sauces, 5 zł for a cup of guacamole the size of a teaspoon. The waiter is nice, but unfortunately, he is not at all communicative, he did not ask about the choice of sauces, nor about the degree of spiciness (hence the food is a bit tasteless), nor about the type of tortilla. Very good value for money, but the service could be improved :(
I had the desire to try Mexican dishes for the first time in my life, so I relied on opinions and found this place. Aesthetically presented, but a big plus. Unfortunately, the dishes did not hit my heart. I tried a burrito and tacos. I expected a storm of flavors, but I came out with a tortilla, rice and pieces of meat. I'm not saying the food is inedible, for me it's just as simple as my evening sandwiches for dinner.nnThe service was very nice and caring about the customer.nnP.S.nMats on the tables gave me goosebumps, like a fork scraping on porcelain
