Quite expensive (appetizer + tea = 63 zł; yes, the location is a must), but it does not translate to quality. The decor and atmosphere are quite rigid. The dumplings are grey and tasty, but overcooked. Moreover, on the receipt it says that 'service is not included' -- at such prices! And what does that even mean? Don't they pay the waiters?
We went for a birthday dinner, the food was very good, everyone was happy with their dishes. When the lady from the service realized that it was a birthday dinner, she served us a sparkling wine from the company. A small, atmospheric interior with a view of the old town.
The dishes are insanely delicious and I rarely use such words as you can see from my other reviews. Genius pockets of chicken in mushroom sauce, which was better than I remember from my childhood and very tasty schnapps with goose. The place is clean, decorated with national holiday accents. Very nice and helpful service, who was interested in both the taste and the atmosphere of the guests.
Average cuisine. The menu looks reasonable, but their preparation differs from the reviews. We were in a group, the summer potatoes were similar to the cabbage, schabowy was burnt and covered with fat, the tomato soup ala bolonese, the cinnamon tea was poor.
From the very beginning, the lady had problems with splitting the bill. There were 3 couples and there was already a problem that everyone wanted a separate bill. The food was well served, but without any taste. If I were to eat just vinegar, the food is definitely not worth its price. This was confirmed by my friends who were there with me.
Bamberka Restaurant is a place that delights with its taste and atmosphere! I highly recommend the ribs – they are perfectly seasoned, tender and melt in your mouth. Add to that the braised cabbage – aromatic, well-balanced and perfectly complementing the meat. Simply a masterpiece! The service is also at the highest level – special thanks to Mrs. Natalia, who with her kindness and professionalism made this evening even more enjoyable. I will definitely come back, because such places are not forgotten!
We were with friends on a hot Friday evening for dinner, the food was delicious. Bigos was amazing, Szarek crackers were heaven, Rolada has no words. We recommend it. If we visit Poznań, we will definitely come back here.
I organized a communion in the Bamberka Restaurant and I am incredibly satisfied. I didn't have to worry about anything. Starting from the perfect plating offer, where you don't have to add or subtract anything, to the elaborate decorations - everything was perfect in the Restaurant. The guests couldn't believe the wonderful decor and the dishes exceeded their expectations.nThroughout the reception, we were under the care of wonderful ladies who served as waitresses, who constantly replenished the missing drinks and fulfilled the guests' requests.nI recommend this Restaurant if you are looking for a place to organize any family event.nThe Restaurant is open to your suggestions.
For May Day with my family we visited Bamberke. There is a monument of Bamberke in front of the restaurant. Each of the 4 people had a different dish so that everyone could try something different from the regional cuisine of Poznań. Everyone was satisfied with the taste and the size of the portion. In the restaurant you can sit inside as well as in the garden, enjoying the view of the market. I think that on our next visit to Poznań we will visit this restaurant.
Today we visited the long-delayed Bamberg, very nice and friendly atmosphere, a view of the Old Market and very nice and helpful service. The cooler was good, velvety yogurt with beets and parsley, I missed something sharper there, e.g. radish, parsley. Bawarian-style kielbasa was also good, soft, gently seasoned but I didn't feel the aroma of beer which should be in this dish, there were a lot of additives, pickled cucumbers, peppers and pickled mushrooms, lettuce and arugula, very good horseradish and mustard. The dish was correct but I still felt a lack of taste. Roasted duck leg with dumplings, aromatic sauce and red cabbage was just right and here is a big plus. In a word, good with a little but... and that's why 4 stars. Prices like those on the Old Market in every city are not cheap but within the bounds of decency. The restaurant is definitely worth recommending and if the owner reads the reviews and takes them to heart, it will be even better.
