Restaurant Hyćka in Poznań is a place we can really recommend for its dumplings with goose served with cabbage. The potato pancakes were a bit too 'floury' and did not appeal to me. The cottage cheese dish with potatoes was nice. There are many items with 'hyćka,' adding authenticity to the place. nThe service was very nice, helpful, and above all, knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks served. There was a possibility to modify the orders, removing or adding items, which is a big plus. nThe interior of the establishment is not well-kept and modern, which is a significant downside.

The lemonade as well as the herb tea with hyćka were wonderful! The salad with smoked duck provoked mixed feelings in me - on one hand, the raspberry dressing was very tasty, but on the other hand, smoked duck is completely not to my taste. Additionally, the prices are fairly high - I'm not sure what justifies such price levels in this place... Typical Polish cuisine can be cheaper, and I say this from experience as I've visited quite a few dining establishments on the map. The service, however, was a bit lackluster. Fortunately, the dessert was a success - warm, substantial apple pie, so overall it wasn't a disaster.
I just visited this restaurant and must say it was one of the best culinary experiences! The specialty for Saint Martin's Day is goose here, and it was truly delicious. It was perfectly prepared – juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. You can tell the chef knows what he is doing!nnThe service was friendly and professional, always ready to advise and answer any questions with a smile. Attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere made me feel like a valued guest right away. I will definitely return here at the next opportunity – this restaurant is a true gem!
A very pleasant restaurant with regional cuisine on Poznań's Śródka. Without crowds, reservations, and queues but with good food, stylish decor, and friendly service.
A venue on Poznań's Śródka with traditional cuisine. Like every year, our family celebrates Saint Martin's Day eating goose and croissants - we chose a place where we could eat goose this year, it was Hyćka; during the reservation, we were informed about the time we had for it. The dishes were served fairly quickly; for my taste, they should have been hotter; ours were warm, and since we had our table in the first room and it was cold outside, the frequent opening of the restaurant doors without any kind of vestibule or curtain could have caused them to cool down quickly.nMy son's goose was tasty; he expected red cabbage but got beets, the roll was very well-seasoned, the tenderloin could have been cooked longer; the dumplings in both dishes were delicious. nWe will surely return here another time.
It's strange that we just got here now. Very good, Greater Poland food, and a well-thought-out decor. The underlay - hyćka, water - hyćka, lemonade - hyćka. We ate a potato pancake with porcini mushrooms, a parsley-pear soup, and dumplings with wild boar meat, and everything was delicious. Worth a return. On the menu, you can also find an adequate mini glossary of the Poznań dialect. And of course, you can buy hyćka juice to take home.
I highly recommend this place. Everything is at the highest level, delicious traditional Polish dishes, and an interesting seasonal offer. The restaurant has a nice decor, and the location in the very center of Śródka adds extra charm and atmosphere. The menu also allows guests to familiarize themselves with the Poznań dialect, which adds even more charm to this place. Service is top-notch, very friendly, and attentive to the guests.
Interesting and tasty czernina (I had it for the first time), 'pyry z gzikiem' were amazing, as well as duck with dumplings. Good wines (from the Morena vineyard) and very friendly service. Although this place is a bit far from the center, it's worth visiting, especially while exploring Ostrów Tumski. I recommend it!
Great place, delicious food, nice service. During peak hours, the food was served very quickly.
