Mc Tosiek

The restaurant is well located, but the food is another matter. The breaded pork chop was okay, but the very loose coating made it difficult to eat. The chicken leg was also not among the best. The overall food served was lukewarm, but mostly acceptable in quality and taste. However, there was one horrible item that I definitely do not recommend - the fries. Due to their time sitting out, they were very hard and inedible. They were in a warming tray, which likely affected their taste. While leaving, I heard a woman complaining about entirely cold food. The staff offered to replace the meal with a warm one, so I think they weren't bad at service. In comparison to the fries, the potatoes were quite good. I didn't try all the salads, but none of them were bad. For a full meal (meat, side, and salad), I paid 35 zlotys, which I felt was a good price for the amount served. In summary, if you decide to choose this restaurant, I recommend getting the breaded pork chop with potatoes. I can't comment on other dishes as I haven't tried them. PLEASE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE FRIES IF THEY ARE IN THE WARMING TRAY!!

I have eaten here several times. Usually, I took the daily special. I was mostly satisfied, for example, with a good pork chop, but there were also meats that I didn't like, such as the roulade. So far, all the salads have been tasty. Recently, I also tried a yogurt smoothie (strawberry and mango). Unfortunately, during one visit, I found a small piece of aluminum foil in my food, which I rate negatively.nFor me, it's more of a bar with Polish cuisine, where you can quickly grab a bite, rather than a restaurant. The service is 'down-to-earth'. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and there is also a play area for children, which my nephews loved.

Portions are so huge that even a 7-year-old gets full. In the past, you could really get a good and cheap meal. Now? For an adult to get full, it costs 50 zloty. In a fast-service bar with home-cooked meals....

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this place. All the dishes I ordered were heavily salted. The chicken was not fresh and had an unpleasant smell, as if it were spoiled. The pizza was very greasy; I had to wipe the oil with napkins, which was very unpleasant. Even the coffee was bitter and hard to drink. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place.

On November 18, 2024, I attended a family event at Mc Tosiek in the Malwowa Gallery. A few days earlier, I had eaten there.nThe food was very good, the organization of the event was at a very high level, and the personal culture of the manager and staff was also top-notch. The event was organized by my esteemed spouse - who raved about the manager and staff while handling the arrangements.nI highly recommend it.nLeszek Jakóbczyk.

I recommend this place to everyone. I have had the opportunity to use their services for four larger events, and I must admit that the atmosphere of this place is incredible. A big thank you to the manager MC Tosiek, Mr. Rafał, who takes care of every detail ;))nThe food is always very well prepared, not to mention the various types one can always choose from.nOnce again, I recommend :)

I ordered catering for a holiday meeting.nEverything was delicious, especially:nborscht with dumplings, cabbage pierogi, roulades, prepared dishes, and mini desserts. The vegetarian dishes were also tasty.nWe were satisfied and well-fed.

This review is only about this specific Mc Tosiek in the Malwowa Gallery. We were there last week; we entered because there were no other options, and we were hungry. As for the service - I must say, I have not encountered such treatment of a customer in a long time. I placed an order, and then the total seemed too high - I noticed that an additional item was charged that I did not order, so happy that I hadn't yet paid, I said everything was okay but without that one item - and then the problem started: even though I hadn't paid for the order, the lady could not remove that one item because she said 'the order has already gone to the kitchen,' while reminding me ten times that she would have to pay out of her own pocket for it... (I have never encountered that you cannot withdraw an item from the order before the receipt has been paid - it is different if the payment has already been made, then I understand everything, but before? if it is not possible - then something clearly needs to change in the system, rather than throwing the customer sulky looks). After I had to listen to about ten times that the ladies would have to be at a loss (even though it wasn't my fault), I was called to pick up my order, which also didn't match, because I ordered carbonara, and received bolognese, plus pancakes that were supposed to have cheese but had jam =] (only the one with Nutella was correct). If it weren't for the attitude of the ladies from the service, I would have said that my order was incorrect, but out of fear that what I received back would have a 'surprise' in it + the fact that the ladies would be even more at a loss, I was inclined to let it go, eat (even though my appetite had completely left me after this situation during the order) and get out of there as quickly as possible. As for the food itself, quite honestly, nothing special; the pancakes were bad (which aligns with other reviews), the tagliatelle was too peppery, and the bolognese was very ordinary, like bolognese - although I wanted carbonara... so I probably won't visit again, mainly due to the level of service and mediocre food, also my rating is influenced by how we were treated.

The roll - meat with cucumber-onion 'paste' inside, terribly dry. The dumplings were evidently microwaved, rubbery and hard. The sauce? Water with the taste of a sachet.nThe pork chop - tough 'something' coated in double breadcrumbs of breadcrumbs and flour. When trying to cut it, the breading falls off, leaving just a meaty sole. The mashed potatoes were poorly mashed, mixed with old ones, a classic from every eatery. The whole thing smeared with the same water that tastes like hunter's sauce from a sachet.nSalads were fairly good, probably because they were ready from a container and not prepared by the service.

We often order from Tośek; sometimes the food is better, sometimes worse, but what I received today was shocking to me.nI ordered pancakes for kids - while the kids were sitting at the table, I opened the containers and saw what is in the pictures! Good thing I ordered more portions because there was enough to share, but half (the one in the picture) was trash. I add that I ordered around 11:30 for 13:00, so they definitely didn't need to hurry, and I totally don't understand how the chef could serve something like that for delivery... !! P.S. Davolay and Russian pancakes are great!nnEDIT: The restaurant contacted me, apologized, and refunded the money for the pancake order.
