I give the highest rating partly because the cult Bimba is still operating, as its history hasn’t been easy :) It’s great that it’s back and you can order something from it.nnI got the mushroom bun, without sauces, to properly evaluate the taste. It’s okay, though not outstanding – the mushrooms are lightly seasoned, warm, and tasty. The bun is worse – it’s just plain, nothing special. It could be a bit larger. But I still got enough to eat for several hours, and overall, it was tasty.nnService – hard to say much more. I ordered, picked up :) nnSuggestion – change the buns and it will be great. For now, the rating is slightly encouraging :)
The bun with mushrooms is a great idea, bringing us back to the 90s. Mega nice memory.nTo taste the flavor, I had to order the bun with mushrooms without sauces. As for me, the bun is so-so, it could be more toasted and warmer, the mushroom filling is good, warm, you can feel the taste of mushrooms but also their texture (it’s not some finely chopped mushroom mixture) and that’s a plus. It’s well-seasoned, but everyone likes different levels of spiciness.nDespite the bun, I give it 5 stars because it’s a place to grab a quick bite, and there’s nothing to complain about.nYou can sit in the cozy tram on a cold day and eat, though there isn’t much space.nBimba has been beautifully restored, giving a nice vibe to Półwiejska Street.nFor a quick snack, I recommend it; 10 PLN is not much and it satisfies while supporting a local business.nI recommend!!!
The mushroom bun – a legend of Polish street food from the 80s and 90s – is back on the scene (well, actually on Półwiejska Street) like Terminator 2. Once served from stalls and iconic Niewiadów trailers, today proudly served from... a tram. Yes, you read that right – the 'new old' tram has turned into a gastronomic center of taste and nostalgia!nnThere are always eager customers for this cult delicacy. A queue? There’s always one. But it’s worth waiting because the bun is unbelievably delicious. Freshly made, filled with aromatic mushroom filling, it costs only 10 PLN (or 12 PLN if you add sauce – because luxury comes at a price).nnIs 2 PLN for sauce an exaggeration? Maybe, but hey – at this price, you get a piece of history and a bit of magic on your plate.nnIs it worth it? Absolutely. Just to be able to proudly say: 'Yes, I’ve been there, I’ve eaten, and it was phenomenal!' So swing by Półwiejska – the history of taste awaits!
Super friendly team at the Poznań cult Bimba serving the classic, the mushroom bun. This is definitely what Półwiejska needed for years! Delicious, crunchy yet very delicate in texture, the bun filled with aromatic mushroom filling is the perfect addition to Półwiejska.nSuper quick, warm, and tasty; a great option for a quick bite while rushing from the center to the tram, a must-try for street food lovers, and a good alternative for those wanting a hot meal.nAnd even when your girlfriend says she's hungry but doesn't know what she wants to eat, throwing a phrase your way of 'think of something,' I guarantee you don't have to think anymore. You take her by the arm, and you go for the bun! Trust me, she’ll be satisfied nIn summarynA nice surprise, tasty, and mega simple. It warms the heart when you see how much work has gone into restoring Bimba, transforming it from a decaying ugly bug into a beautiful and colorful butterfly!
Revelation! nThe bun is very good, fresh, and crunchy.nThe mushrooms are amazing, very soft and fresh!nService is very efficient and pleasant.nBimba is elegantly restored!!!!nnI recommend!!!
A brilliant idea to utilize this spot.nThe bun is delicious, crispy, and the mushrooms in butter... exquisite!!nHighly recommend as a tasty alternative to kebab
A great snack while walking in the city. The bun is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The mushroom filling is well-seasoned . We enjoyed it immensely and we will surely return for more. Highly recommend ♥️
A nice place for a filling snack in the city. The buns are crispy, the mushrooms are deliciously fried in butter, and there is a selection of several sauces. Prices are very reasonable, the friendly team, and the atmosphere of the old tram definitely encourage visits. The plus is the possibility to eat on-site and to order hot drinks to go with the meal.
I stopped by Bimba out of curiosity, and I swear, the food is really delicious. For 10 PLN, it’s worth coming by, whether you’re doing shopping in the Stary Browar or popping out for a bun. There was quite a long queue, and it was a Saturday afternoon. Best of luck and good health to the entire team!
In the heart of the city, in the unusual setting of an old tram, a place has been created that celebrates Polish street food at its best. This unique establishment serves classics like the bun with mushrooms. The atmosphere attracts both sentimental lovers of tradition and the younger generation discovering the charm of these flavors. Sitting at small tables in the tram, you can feel the spirit of bygone days while enjoying the freshness and quality of the ingredients. An ideal place for a quick yet unforgettable meal!
